There's a lack of choices when it comes to restaurants in Pula . We came across this place by luck because all the other ones were closed ! The service was quick and attentive . Good choices of menu and the prices were reasonable . Plenty of seafood choices and pizza . The most disappointing item on the menu seemed... More

The restaurant seems to be a very high-end one, the reality looks a bit different. We had the grilled fish that was tasty but too dry for my taste. The main dishes come without anything. If you order fish, you'll get this and only this. All side orders are 5 extra Euros - also chips and potatoes which is a... More

We stopped for dinner after walking past and on recommendation. The mains and accompaniments were very good. Red mullet excellent, sea bass/bream beautifully cooked, slightly too salty for my partners taste (could be due to pregnancy). Wine chosen for us was a lovely accompaniment and I took leftovers home (for me to continue drinking). Atmosphere great as it was a... More

We were staying in Pula for a week and fancied trying Giancarlo's as we passed it a few times and it looked ok. The service from the head waiter felt slightly pompous, and the food was acceptable, if not great. In the end the general impression was that the food was average and the price more expensive then other restaurants... More

This is a good restaurant! My gauge to how good an Italian restaurants is their pasta pomodoro. Their speciality is seafood The Spaghetti Frutti Del Mar was exceptional. Kids had pizzas which was thin and authentic. prices were very reasonable. I just wished I didn't have to drive! The waiter spoke impeccable English which mean he was very helpful through... More

I was over for 3 nights and ate at Giancarlo's every night. (I've been... More

It was authentic Sardanian food. The people were very nice but did not speak a lot of English. The upside was that the menus at the English translation right under the Itailian description of th food. Our main course was fish, they grilled it the way they normally do rubbed with sea salt by the way, they brought the fresh fish... More

We've been coming here for years and never been let down... Get there at 7pm and you can always eat without reservation or book in advance. Great reasonably priced food and children friendly! :-)
