Extremely popular restaurant (booked up days in advance for dinner in high season) - it has an outside terrace and offers a range of unusual dishes such as sucking pig (spit roasted on site) and various 'boards' which you can share as a starter or have for one as a main course - they come with a mix of cheese... We came to this restaurant after having a problem with another restaurant who had lost our order and never did get it together. The food was poor - my wife's entrecote steak was ordered medium, but came cooked, but barely warm and was a very stringy piece of meat. I have to say that my mixed grill was not too... More

Good place to experience typical Sardinian food, make sure you book in advance as they have very short opening hours.

When staying in Pula, this is a must-visit. Brilliant atmosphere, fantastic food, especially for meat lovers. If you want to eat on prime time, reservation is required.

This place was our choice to eat meat for a change in our fish self-imposed diet. We were not left disappointed as the place is very nice, the service is very friendly and understanding, the food very good. What we like the most is the owner's attitude in keeping the place as much preserved as possible, almost wanting to stop... More

Loved this place. Really romantic setting and we felt like we were eating true Sardinian food. We had a delicious farmers board of meats and cheeses and a a surprise of tripe in a tomato and garlic sauce. This was the first time I'd eaten tripe and it was delicious. We had lovely wild boar pasta and a goat stew... More

I can completely understand some of the comments previously written. For me, food/service is a 3 but setting, character and value make it a 4. Whether you are or not, you do feel you are eating traditional/authentic(?) Sardinian fayre. Indeed my wife was admonished by the waiter for asking whether they had any dishes with pesto only to be told... More

Having read the reviews here we made a reservation. Even in early June this was a good idea as we saw lots of people turned away. The place itself is basic but quite nice - open courtyard with some rustic charm. The meal itself was a disappointment. The board starter was quite good, local produce and a good size. For... More
