Like everything in Sardinia, your meal will take time to prepare so order a bottle of red and enjoy the wait. The food is basic but deliciously prepared and the owners are such lovely people. Be sure to try the pecorino plate, 7 or 8 varieties of goat cheese, from hard like parmesan to softer style more readily associated with... More

We visited for the Sardinian speciality of suckling pig, and we were not disappointed! The staff are welcoming and friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was of high quality, from the cold cuts appetiser to the suckling pig, which you pass still on the spit as you enter the restaurant. Fantastic restaurant. Is very busy so essential to... Su Furriadroxu specializes in traditional Sardinian cuisine. Nothing light or trendy here. The pastas are very tasty and very stick to the ribs with goat and wild boar sauces. The house specialty is suckling pig roasted on a spit and it is not to be missed. The house wine is undrinkable and you are well advised to order a bottle... More

Stayed July 12-19. Visited here on 2 occasions, recommended by waiter from our hotel, you have to book as it is quite a popular place not only with tourisists but locals also. Drive into the center of Pula and follow the road around and youcan park your car about 300m from the restaurant beside the supermarket, cost is 0.50/hr.(blue spaces).... More

Firstly you must book to get a table a few days in advance and make sure you are quite hungry too (and like meat). Service is not quick so be prepared to wait, but the food quality was worth it. The suckling pig is the signature dish and is delicious. Deserts were equally good.

The pig a must and it's gorgeous, we can suggest going in a large group so you get a whole pig on the table, as entree "pasta al cinghiale" is yummy. The location is charming as well, staff is friendly. Worth going.

Extremely popular restaurant (booked up days in advance for dinner in high season) - it has an outside terrace and offers a range of unusual dishes such as sucking pig (spit roasted on site) and various 'boards' which you can share as a starter or have for one as a main course - they come with a mix of cheese... We came to this restaurant after having a problem with another restaurant who had lost our order and never did get it together. The food was poor - my wife's entrecote steak was ordered medium, but came cooked, but barely warm and was a very stringy piece of meat. I have to say that my mixed grill was not too... More

Good place to experience typical Sardinian food, make sure you book in advance as they have very short opening hours.
