My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with lunch at Il San Pietro. Every detail was simply outstanding: the restaurant, the location, the staff, the food, Alois and everything we learned from him. Simply wonderful! We are still talking about this incredible experience that will have us going back again.

Definetly a dining experience of a lifetime. Although its quite expensive, the sunset view alone is worth every penny. Get there early to enjoy a drink in the terrace. Every one on the staff is very pleasant and attentive, they make you feel like a guest of honor. Live music in the background is a great touch. The food is... More

Arguably the greatest hotel in the world. Pricey, but you get what you pay for and 1000x more. Some of the best staff anywhere, the manager deserves a raise!

We arrived by boat, somewhat to the surprise of the hotel staff - but they very politely directed us to the lift when we explained that we were just coming for a cocktail. Every single member of staff we encountered was welcoming and friendly, even though we were considerably underdressed after a day at Arienzo Beach. We were shown to... More

We were willing to pay high prices for valet parking and cold drinks on our cliff side drive around the coast. So busy is this area in high season that parking is at a premium. Both were worth it. Kind, unintrusive service with both left us to enjoy both the quirks and style of the stone and ceramic seating. When... More

Everything is perfect. Five star restaurant. Best view you'll ever have. Fancy without stuffy. Warm but professional service. Delicious food. Perfection.

Skip this place! We had high expectations. Total fail. I am not sure where to start. Let me say the food was quite good. The service was beyond horrible. The staff floated around like they were doing us a favor. The pushed us for our orders almost immediately. 1. The restaurant was maybe 40% full at 800pm and they pushed... More

We ate branziono with the fried zucchini every night! The homemade pizza to start (free!) was amazing. We ordered it in the room one night with a great bottle of wine to just relax! It was fantastic! The pasta all very good. I loved the linguini with seafood.

Please stay away. I have never been treated worse in a so-called luxury property. The location is far removed from core Positano, the staff are incompetent and rude, the cleaning service is laughable. I have never been told "no" more about a hotel. On the night of my girlfriend's birthday, I had to beg for a dessert to be delivered... More
