I would love to review this great cafe in a premier position on the beachfront at beautiful Positano. It had an amazing position and made the best coffee we had tried in all of Italy ( after 3 weeks travelling)

Not worthy of the negative reviews! Admittedly we went when it was very quiet towards the end of the season, but the risotto was the best we've had and mixed seafood platter was equally as tasty! Definitely worth the visit and relatively good value compared...to a lot of PositanoMore

First night in Positano, and we went to L'Incanto, after having read great views about the restaurant online. The staff were super friendly, helpful & attentive. There was even a little ginger cat inside the building which we thought was adorable. The portions of the...dishes were massive, but they were also delicious. We would highly recommend going there again. (Also nice to note that the day after we had dinner, we walked pasted the restaurant, and the staff all waved to us, said hi, and wishes us a great day. Fantastic!More

Ridiculous system on the beach managed by the restaurant. Tried to reserve and pay for sun beds the day before as advised by restaurant staff only to be told by various beach staff “no reservation” and then on arrival at the beach nothing available anywhere...near the sea as “they are all reserved”!! This happened 3 days in a row. Service is non existent. Tried to buy water from the beach waiter at midday to be told service only starts at 1pm so had to get dressed, leave the beach and queue at two different positions at the restaurant to buy a bottle of water. Absolute nonsense in a holiday resort. All this after twice driving through the towns crowded one way system trying to find a car park that charged anything less than €400 for 24 hour parking! It’s as if the good folk of Positano make it as difficult and unpleasant as possible to visit. Which is a bizarre attitude in a town that relies so heavily on hospitality and was no doubt hit hard by Covid lack of visitors. We just came from two weeks on the French Riviera which was a much more pleasant and civilised environment. Certainly won’t be coming back to Positano in a hurry.More

Fabulous location, overlooking the sea, great place to be as the sun goes down, We had to wait a while once we were seated before anyone showed any interest in us, despite having made a reservation, and being the first customers of the evening. Basic...fish dishes reasonably priced, but fish of the day dishes were extortionate so we gave them a miss in preference for the seafood pasta, which was very good. Rather surprising they did not sell the local Amalfi beer which is top notch, but plenty of local wine. Was a pleasant experience, but below our high expectations. Also, staff need to learn how to cover their noses with their masks.More

Ignorant waiters. Ate the chicken and a sallad - how bad can it get! Ask for a glass of wine and they give you an expensive far above the price you are prepared to pay for wine in Italy. Don't order anything unless you are...told the price. We loved the place but having spent a lifetime of summers on the coast we know this was really bad.More

The restaurant has a fabulous location, a view to the see through beach chairs and lush vegetation, the kind of picture you hesitate to share with those at home because you know they will get too jealous to really appreciate it :-)! Enough said. The...service was horrible, they just don't care, they don't have an eye on the tables to see if anybody needs something - you have to get up and get them! I was alone and was testing restaurants for our clients - and it is seldom I am so grateful to have had an overpriced horrible lunch so I can shout loud to everybody to stay away. Ask for a glass of wine and they give you the most expensive (Barolo) in Italy. They have no desert listed and when you ask they mumble some tiramisu and similar standard dishes. I went for the fruit and for some pieces nicely presented they charged €13 which was more than a rip off. Lots of Americans come to Positano, you are constantly being ripped off and you probably just laugh about it - this is then an encouragement to continue to do so. Please be critical and ASK the price each time you order something off the menu. No wonder the restaurant was nearly empty. Also, what is it with some Italian restaurants that you don't give good service to single guests, and one who speaks more than fluent italian too? You lost a lot of business through me today!More

Right at sea level and fun to sit here and have drinks...music is usually blasting but it's a fun atmosphere. We ordered an aperol spritz, beer and the small pizza they have for appetizer and it was $70 (euros). I think we were over charged...because the spritz was $10 (euros) and the beer less than that.More
