My wife and I had al nice lunch. For My son, 9 years old, we asked just pasta ( no sauce). A little plate came. So we asked, after he finished, a little bit more. Another plate with pasta came( penne no fresh pasta). On the bill they put 2 x 9,-. So 18,- euro for just a little bit... More

Another traveler mentioned this restaurant and we are so glad they did because this place is amazing! Come for the upscale pizza menu, stay for the embrace of a restaurant built with love.

While staying at Il San Pietro last week we actually ate here two nights in a row. It is a short cab ride from Positano, but only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The restaurant is well designed with gives off a very clean feeling. The kitchen is open to the dining room and there is plenty of space... More

A 5-star dining experience. Service, food, wine recommendations were excellent. A car collected us from the Sponda bus stop right on time and we were at the restaurant within 5 minutes. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, attentive but polite. The lobster tortelli was wonderfully cooked and balanced flavours. The mushrooms were just ok. The house, one... More

A lovely restaurant. Located a little outside Positano but they will pick you up from the main bus stop at the edge of Positano so that wasn't a problem. An extensive wine list, which is well priced. For entree we had the carpaccio and the salad (which was delicious after 2 weeks of pizza/pasta in Italy!). For mains we shared... More

The pizza is a stand out - we ordered the taverna pizza. Pizzas very reasonably priced. Carrot and ginger soup for entree was delicious. I don't eat seafood/fish so I asked for the pizza and my husband ordered a fish dish. The maitre'd was a bit dismissive and told me I would share the pizza because it's too big for... More

Definitely worth the trip and don't let the location put you off - there is a free shuttle. Compared to other restaurants in the Positano area this place is great value and serves great food, you can get a pizza for under €10 or order of their full menu. I had the lobster tortelle, the stuffed baby squid and an... More

Hard to get to from town, and parking is very limited. We took a cab for $20 and he told us they had a shuttle that brings you to and from the intersection of the main road and Columbus Blvd. We took it back, however call the hotel to see if they will pick you up. The pizza is what... More

I recently went to this restaurant for dinner and had a fantastic overall experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was exceptional. Our waiter's name was Antonio Casola. I have never asked for a waiter's name before but he was so great that I wanted to give him the praise he deserved. He was a true professional and... More

This is a wonderful restaurant and has delicious dessert offerings. I should know, since I tasted 3 of them. However, their appetizer and pasta dishes are dominated by seafood dishes. Some people will love this but I was traveling with someone who is allergic to shellfish and another who is a vegetarian. It's tough to have only one option left.

Dear Anonymous, thank you so much for taking the time to share with us your experience. We are very happy you liked the atmosphere and enjoyed our desserts. However, I feel a bit confused about your remark on our lack of non-seafood or vegetarian alternatives. Allow me to disagree with you on these points and let me please explain you... More
