Stunning views , service was so and so (the staff is quite unfriendly, just waiting for you to finish the average overpriced pasta), the overall atmosphere is romantic in pleasant.

This restaurant is half way up the hill of Positano so easily accessible from most hotels and they also offer a free shuttle on call. Lovely staff who were very accomodating to my dietey requirements. The zucchini pasta with olive oil rather than cream was simple yet delicious. The the view is absolutely breath taking.

My fiancé and I had dinner here one night and were treated exceptionally well from the moment we walked in the door. We were given a private balcony and helpful suggestions regarding the menu. The food was great, I definitely recommend the seafood risotto. A beautiful restaurant with a really pleasant atmosphere. It was a lovely night out and I... More

Caffe Positano offers a beautiful viewpoint that is like any other in Positano. The food is good, tasty but sadly overpriced. They do give you good portions but not worth the price. For example (we did not buy any but looked) they charge €8 for a simple cup of gelato. Go two steps down the road and its €2.50. It's... More

It was once one of the best destinations in the world. Just magic and always humming. It changed hands some years ago and has really gone for the tourist dollar. Food is fairly awful. Serve fine. Even coffee is over priced. Position is marvellous.

Lovely view. Car will collect you. Food nice and tasty. Service hit and miss , first night very good and made an effort, so returned but second night waiters not that interested so did not return again. Offer a discount sometimes from certain hotels but as dearer to start with than most other restaurants does not make much difference..

Our hotel reserved a balcony table and free shuttle pick-up. We were very happy with our food and the view was absolutely stunning. The shuttle dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the night.

Gelato was ok but the granita was delicious!! Didn't eat there just stopped in for a quick refreshment. Food looked good though. Very busy place.
