Away from the main touristy beach is this hidden Jem. Reasonably priced meals and fresh seafood dishes were great. I loved the friendly staff and beautiful love music playing!

We went to Ristorante Mediterranean last night for dinner and it all started well, we were given what we thought was a glass of complimentary prosecco on arrival and the waiters seemed friendly. That though quickly went downhill... Our waitress came to take our drink order and when we asked about a wine she then said " I know nothing... More

The welcome, the service, the intimate atmosphere, and the wine bottle decor are all very nice. But the food is the real topic at hand, it is easily one of the best meals I've ever had. The appetizer of mussels was fresh and flavorful. The chef's choice of grilled seafood is so good I want to tell them about Iron... More

I usually don't bump this much with the Tripadvisor reviews but I gotta say they failed me here. This was right next to our hotel so we were pretty excited about trying it. I think people are enamored with the environment that the food is overlooked. The live music (starting around 9 it seems) was great, but the food left... More

Excellent atmosphere with live music and great authentic Italian food. Location was good if you are staying up the hill as it allows you to walk off that dinner foam the hill through get old town

We had an outside table to enjoy the view of the stars and the guitar and singing fun. Service and food were great! Tuna on special was amazing for only $20. Gnocchi just $10 for homemade amazing dish. We would definitely go back and recommend for couples to enjoy a fun and special time.

We ate here a number of times and enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. The music nights were good fun. Like most places the wine seemed expensive so we stuck mainly to the house wines which were ok. I am very surprised by a couple of the recent reviews as we found the service to be fine and the... Friendly warm atmosphere! Welcoming. We had great fun singing along with the roaming singer and playing tambourines! Food was delicious.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. I have mixed feelings about it. First I ordered a bottle of Chianti Classico and he brought me a bottle of Chianti Superior, this is a lesser version and cheaper then what I ordered, I pointed this out to him and he left and returned 20 minutes later with the right... Excited to have our first Positano meal, this place seemed cozy and friendly. Ordered mussels which were mushy (way overcooked), shrimp which were tiny and flavorless, lobster linguine which was bitter, and scorpion fish which was just okay. Wait staff were unprofessional and inattentive. Highly recommend passing.

The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.
