Accidentally finding myself at Risorante Mediterraneo, was the best thing that happened over my stay in Positano. A perfect combination of a fantastic staff, a beautiful dish of vongole and a great view. Walked in a customer, and left as a friend of the staff...More

Went to Restaurante Mediterraneo for dinner tonight and it was a great experience all round. Welcome host and great service with amazing food. People were lining up as we were leaving. Well known for a reason. 5 stars. Would return.

We didn't have reservations anywhere one evening in Positano so we stopped into Ristorante Mediterraneo. This was the worst meal that I had on our trip to Italy. In the restaurants defense, I don't like fish/seafood and it was a seafood restaurant. My husband had...More

We are normally pretty easily pleased, however wishing we didn’t have dinner at Ristorante Mediterraneo. We had to wait for a table, which was fine, and we were seated not that long after arriving. Our order was taken quickly, which was great. We were told...More

Stopped here twice, was recommended by the hotel. good range of seafood dishes, and reasonably priced. First visit service was attentive, second visit, was a little erratic, but it is hard to tell with one or two visits. To a degree you have to get...More

The food was ok but the service was average. The owners were loud and unprofessional and didn't return any change (8 euro) when I paid with cash. Happy to leave a tip but I want the choice. The food was fairly good but it was...More

Description
The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.
