Peter the local Italian with the British accent, trained with Hester Blumenthal and was now running cooking classes. We booked for the following night and he recommended this place at the top of the hill. We were at the bottom! And that means a lot in Positano. We heard the sound of a guitar from a distance. Busy waiters greeted... More

The food was good, and average price for positano, not cheap but not expensive either. What we really loved was the atmosphere. Everybody working at the restaurant joked, laughed, and sang. This was really entertaining and enjoyable to see, so much so that after we were finished everything, I wanted to stay a bit longer.

The Pizza was great and the fried Calamari with shrimp are fantastic. They also have a pretty wide selection of other foods if pizza has already been ticked off your list. Great restaurant about halfway down Pasitea. So good we went back!

The food is outstanding in almost every restaurant in Positano, what set this place apart is that Lorenzo and his staff make sure you also have fun. Most evening they have a guitar player who travels the rooms. I had pasta with mussels and clams for dinner that was great.

Four out of the five diners last night were elated with our experience and we recommend this place to you. The food and service were very pleasing. The sea bass - I added capers - was over the moon. Ditto for the beef scaloppini (with added capers). Seafood risotto - ditto. Flan dessert brought smiles. The house wine - with... More

We were a group of 7 staying at nearby Villa Lauro for my son's Wedding. There were also 6 others staying nearby as well as another 26 staying down in the town and we all dined at this Restaurant (as couples or small groups) at least once during our stay in Positano. The owner and his staff were very welcoming,... More

This was recommended by several locals, but I wasn't overly impressed. Ordered seared tuna and It was cooked almost all the way through, not much pink inside at all. This was unfortunate. Maybe seared tuna in italy Is a little different from in the states? Probably wouldn't come back here having eaten at other great places near by.

Our hotel strongly recommended this place and it was terrific. It is located on the road across from the sea. They have a lovely outdoor terrace where an Italian man plays guitar and sings Italian songs like A'more, Volare and Mambo Italiano. Memorable dishes were the zucchini flowers in fact we had them at Da Vincenzo the next night and they... More

The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.
