Perched along the sea over the cliff walk to Fornillo Beach, Lo Guarracino is a splendidly peaceful location to dine and relax. We were there on the last weekend of the season, and the staff was attentive and friendly. After being seated at a cozy...table in their garden gallery, we opened a dewy bottle of crisp white wine and gazed out at the stone towers at the water's edge. The waiter brought out a plate of the three available catch of the day fish to help us make our choice. It was served grilled, with a crackling brown skin and tender moist flaky flesh within. My lemon pasta with white and red shrimps benefited from a lightly garlicky buttery sauce made tangy from the shreds of lemon peel. By the time we finished our meal we were completely refreshed and ready for an afternoon of fun in Positano.More

Good food and nice views but really shocking service. Dismissive and abrupt. When I went to pay the woman at the counter barely looked at me and never once spoke to me or said thank you. Soured then experience. I’d avoid this place given so...many other restaurants in Positano bend over backwards for you.More

We made a reservation earlier in the day, and got a great table overlooking the water. All usual Covid measures in place, including contact details. I chose a fresh local fish, simply grilled, and once cooked it was shown to me before the waiter prepared...it - a nice touch. The wife’s languistine was small in proportion to the pasta helping, but tasty. A decent selection of local wines, also by the glass. Friendly service, efficient. Bread didn’t come until the main course arrived which seemed unusual. Would have scored a 5, except there were a few insects around due to the greenery around, and also we arrived at 7, shortly before the sun started to disappear. We were expecting a bigger bill, but it was just over €100, although no starter or dessert.More

Beautiful little find, just 5 mins walk up the hill from the centre of Positano, but away from the crowds! We had the prawn pasta, which was lovely, and a glass of wine overlooking the stunning views. Our favourite eating spot in the area.

We stumbled across it by accident and luckily found a table on the wooden terrace side which was very charming, the whole restaurant has panoramic views out across the Med. Both of our dishes were very good - the pizza was superb, up there if...not the the best we'd eaten anywhere. The staff were all very pleasant and the service good. A hidden gem away from the bustle of the main town area.More

Location of this restaurant is position A as it’s on the cliff walk....amazing. Food and service top notch. Nice wine list - really enjoyed but you really should make a reservation as it’s very busy. Recommended

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel. The walk up to the venue is enough to make it worth a visit! Fabulous views and a really lovely setting. We had lovely food, the tomato gnocchi was a really highlight. The only reason...we haven’t given five stars was due to one of the waitresses who was rather abrupt with us. When we asked about leaving a tip she said “no” rather aggressively and walked off. Not great! Would return for the views and food but not the service.More

The host person is not polite and welcome. Nice view but the staff kill the vibe. I do not recommend it and will not come back.

We have come twice to Lo Guarrancino during our stay in Positano. The atmosphere is more relaxed than on the main promenade in Positano, views of the mediterranean see are great and the food is excellent. Thanks a lot for two nice evenings. Recommended !

This was our favorite place in Positano. We ate here 3 times over our 7 day stay in Positano - once for dinner (with reservations - needed for dinner) and twice when coming back from the beach at Fornillo when they were just opening before...we headed back up the hill to our hotel. The lemon pasta was to die for, and we couldn't get enough the mussels. Everything we ate was excellent - and the views are spectacular!More

I’m not sure, we were lucky and just walked in when they opened and they were able to fit us in, but I would call and make a reservation if you want to guarantee a table. Enjoy 😊

There are a few steps to climb about six or so from memory. However you can use a wheelchair to get there as there is a accessible footpath and I have seen wheelchairs being used.
