Food was good but not what I expected when booking. Chef was accommodating for food allergies and did make sure I could have a safe meal. Very expensive dinner for two in my view
Everything on the menu is good. Service is great. Food is incredible. Great portions, variety and flavor. Friendly staff. Quaint location. Open during off season. I can’t recommend this enough!
Amazing food! Friendly employees and overall a very good experience! I was here with some friends and we booked table on the same day. We arrived late and still we had a very nice experience! The food is typical for the area. We had Aglianico...wine which I really loved.More
This restaurant is quite a ways away from the main town of Positano. Not only is it far, but it is at the top of the cliff (at least it feels that way). There is a bus stop right in front if you choose public...transport instead. Now the food. The food is good. Really good! I had the meatballs, or should I say meatball, since it was just one ball. It was big and delicious. The sauce was also fantastic. I had the tastiest pork shoulder but there was a bug in it. This doesn’t bother me that much. I grew up in the Philippines and have eaten so many bugs, it’s ridiculous. But I know it’s generally a sign of poor kitchen hygiene. So try at your own risk. I didn’t get sick. The staff is friendly and helpful.More
Small restaurant. Worst pasta I have ever had. Spaghetti with clams. It came swimming in what looked like water, and tasted like water. No amount of salt or seasoning could make it taste of anything. unfortunately I was hungry and there was no where else...to go. My friend had gnocchi Sorrento, which was like shop bought gnocchi and Passata with not seasoning no even garlic. Sorry to write a bad review but you need to better than this. Positano in general seems to been v poor in the restaurants. There are so many tourists, I think they don't even try anymore.More
Searched for something different after five days in Positano. Up the hill/mountain and we were greeted by a friendly waitress who spent lots of time in London. Fluent in English -obviously! Spaghetti, salad, eggplant all delicious and served perfectly. Can sit inside or outside….Definitely recommend...this great restaurant.More
The best mussels I have ever had! Meatballs were delicious also. So good we went twice in 3 days, and the staff were lovely. The restaurant arranged for a shuttle and our driver Giacomo was fantastic - the drive from the hotel to the restaurant...was like a mini tour. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining!More
We absolutely loved this little gem that we ran into near our hotel. Our entire Positano stay we were looking for authentic Italian food and couldn’t find it in any of the main areas until we came here. If you run into sarafina she’s the...best! The workers are like family and it’s such a great homey feel :) -monika & JakeMore
Food was very good, meatballs were the best we had on the trip and our daughter loved her mushroom and sausage pasta dish. Only warning is that it was a lot of steps up the side of Positano to get there.
Had a great meal here with family and friends, all in town for a wedding. Had to query the bill at the end but it was amicably sorted. Recommend
Amazing experience - a wide variety of options that taste fantastic and are priced nicely. Not too expensive and fantastic value for money. Also received a small dish from the chef on the house.
Ordered the mussels (zuppe di cozze) and they were the. Best. Mussels. Ever. And a huge portion. Probably 30-40 mussels in the bowl. The broth was to die for. Also got panna cotta and it was delectable. My favorite meal I’ve had in Italy. Service...was on the slow side but it’s Italy. Everything is meant to be savored.More
We visited this restaurant which was near our villa in Positano and had been recommended. It was an awful experience- we had a nice enough table outside which we had requested but in hindsight on a busy road right next to the bus stop queue,...so if you do go sit inside. The service was appalling. Starters and main course were all brought together! We obviously asked for the main courses to to be taken away. They did this and then brought them back later. The same dishes just kept warm. Unfortunately this doesn’t work for seared tuna and steak, which by now we’re dried up and overcooked. We said we were not happy and wanted fresh, they took it away and then never reappeared!! When we asked where our food was we just got a clueless stare from the waiter. By this time we had had enough so got up to leave and pay for the starters and wine. To be fair the ?manager did not charge us for anything, but our whole evening had been ruined on the penultimate night of a lovely holiday. There are many good restaurants in Positano- this is not one of them. Avoid.More
Fresh pasta, beautifully cooked seafood and delicious flavour combinations. We will need to squeeze in another dinner or lunch here before we leave Positano.
