Super cosy place with a nice terrace. The staff made you feel welcome and they took good care of us. The food was excellent, the best we have had in Italy. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend!!

Our party of 8 had a wonderful experience at Donna Rosa. The staff was warm and welcoming, the food was out of this world. It’s worth the trip outside the tourist spots in Positano to enjoy an amazing meal here.

We had a wonderful meal at Donna Rosa! The octopus with roasted potatoes was amazing. The black and white pasta with shellfish was terrific. Gracious service and an excellent wine list completes the package. Highly recommended.

Positano is hectic & often the restaurants feel transactional and rushed. Donna Rosa was a breath of fresh air - a calm and well practiced family run experience far away from the busy narrow streets. Tasty authentic food and a welcomingly small, but well selected,...wine list. The service was really charming and the shuttle to and from the restaurant made the short journey a breeze.More

First of all, if you are in town, they shuttle you to and from your hotel. You are greeted by family and served by the cutest and sweetest Italian grandpa on the coast. There is nothing but great food here. Coming from Washington state where...we have great seafood, I have found it difficult to find non fishy smelling and tasting seafood except at Donna Rosa. If you are in Positano and want a romantic or family meal that serves fabulous, non pretentious seafood dishes, this is your place! We will most definitely return again one day!!More

Took a shuttle to this excluded family owned and run restaurant at the top of the mountain. The service was excellent, we very much enjoyed the fresh pasta and seafood. The homemade bread rolls were delicious as well! Highly recommend. Truffle shaved pasta is a...must!More

Our dinner at Donna Rosa was excellent! They offered a free shuttle pickup and drop-off from our hotel down the hill, which was very convenient. I am so glad we chose to go here for our last night in Positano. This small, intimate family run...restaurant is a must, when visiting Positano. The sea bass and truffle pasta were delicious!More

Our dinner at Donna Rosa what is by far the best dinner we had in nine days in Positano and Ravello. The handmade pasta was incredible. We started off with mussels for the anti pasta dish. My husband had the cannelloni and I had a...Tagliolini with summer truffles for the first course. The tagliolini with summer truffles was the best thing I’ve ever consumed in my life. A woman at the table next to us who was in the same shuttle had the same Tagliolini and she was raving about it all the way back to the hotel. Even though I was full, my husband and I had the second course, he had the pork tenderloin and cheeks and I had the turbot. Simply to die for delicious! Do not pass up going to this restaurant. I am extremely picky as to food and it was by far the best food I’ve eaten in Italy There was not one other restaurant that we ate at that came close to this one. And we dined at all the top rated restaurants in Positano. Thank you mama for the fine meal. I will remember the pasta with summer truffles forever!More

We felt as if we had been welcomed into the family’s home for dinner. The service was fantastic, their recommendations were spot on and the deserts were wonderful. One of my favourite restaurants in the Amalfi Coast

From the incredible welcome and attention from Rosida and her family to the magnificent food produced by Erika - we still feel like it was all an amazing dream. My partner’s mussels starter rendered him speechless with delight. My octopus tentacles were so, so tender...with a beautiful char from the grill. The homemade bread rolls were devoured by both of us. For the pasta course my partner went all out for a black and white pasta with mixed seafood, and again, barely a word from him. My homemade tagliolini with summer truffles was superb and something I will remember for a very long time. Our chosen desserts were silky soft panna cotta with strawberries and a hazelnut and chocolate torte with a gorgeous straciatella gelato. All accompanied by a lovely light Falanghina and limoncello at the end. We had the most incredible evening, felt so welcomed as part of this beautiful family - thank you!More

We had a 4 night trip booked to Pisatano with a list of recommended restaurants from friends in Ct. Our hotel called Donna Rosa last minute on a Wednesday night and a table for 2 was available for 8:00 pm. They sent a van to...pick us up at our hotel for the ride up the hill. A cute little place with a table on the outside patio. It was so nice.More
