when i heard that Jamie oliver went there on his honeymoon and said it was his favorite, I decided ı had to go there! my first impression was that it had no view despite being on top of Positano, however, the magnificent food made up for it :) traditional italian food, seasonal and fresh. the mussel for beginners was ok... I cannot say enough good things about the chefs and this family owned restaurant. My husband and I took a cooking class at the restaurant and the chefs, food, and place were all amazing. The meal we had there was by far the best meal we had on our entire Italy trip. The restaurant has such fresh, homegrown produce. I... More

This restaurant is really special - seriously good food. Innovative cooking, first class ingredients and a delightful place. It's a family business, Mama is still in charge, but two daughters are doing the cooking and front of house. The special ravioli filled with courgette and onion, topped with calamari was beyond wonderful, and the burrata was totally delicious. Main course... More

Great restaurant with great food and service. Waiter gave us a risotto tasting as we were unsure of what we should order. As per the review, we tried the black and white pasta- which were great but maybe not for the price. I highly recommend the ricotta ravioli which I think was the best plate. I would definetely come back.... More

Set high above Positana (therefore requiring a taxi) sits Dona Rose. This intimate family restaurant serves the most sublime, understated and fresh Italian food of the highest order. The service was excellent with charming and helpful staff and was without doubt the best food we tasted in Positano.

Everything came together on our night at this lovely restaurant. The facility was clean and well laid out, the service was authentically gracious, and the food was amazing. They offered to pick us up and take us back with the shuttle service and I do not advise driving here. That totally set the tone for the evening and the cream... More

The food was really good. The taxi to get there was expensive. They do send a driver for some guests. You have to be insistent. We had a long wait for a taxi back to our hotel.

After two weeks in Italy and having eaten fabulous and often cheap food, we went with high expectations to Donna Rosa, especially after reading other reviews. The positive was that the dining room is lovely and the service very professional The negatives were that the food was really not special at all, and the prices charged therefore unjustified. The best... More

Amazing family owned restaurant. The tagliatelle, ravioli, meatballs, black and white pasta and the panacota were out of this world. We were 7 people and our bill was only 500 euros.

maybe our expectations were too high for this restaurant...we were seated in a room off to the left of the main dining room...no idea why since there were many empty tables. There was a door to some type of service room right behind our table, so there was constant traffic in and out by the wait staff....brushing by us the... More
