The waiter was introducing the "special of the day" to the couple on the table next to us. And he looked at us--Asian girls-- and told them "Sushi" is one of the special. When he came to us, we asked him if sushi is the special, he said he was just joking.

Donna Rosa is the go to restaurant on the Amalfi Coast. There is not a better Chef than Erica. Her personality goes right to her food; Lively loving and exciting The chicken cacciatore is beyond belief as is the perfectly cooked black and white pasta with seafood. My wife had the most memorable Branzino with a light lemon sauce. We... More

The food was absolutely fantastic, I had black and white seafood pasta and it was one of the nicest things I ate all holiday. The pannacotta melted in my mouth. Everything was so light, tasty and well cooked. The staff were very kind and attentive too. They also did a pick up from our hotel in Positano which was really... More

This is a truly amazing restaurant. Black and White seafood pasta was amazing, Mussels lovely. Panna Cotta awesome. If you are in the Positano area you should definitely visit this restaurant.

I went there with my vegetarian partner from our hotel in Positano on the recommendation of the concierge. We took a taxi up, maybe a 15 minute drive from the shore, and the journey alone up the winding mountain roads is worth doing for the spectacular views. Once there we received a very warm and friendly welcome (sometimes lacking in... More

OMG. Me and 12 of my friends spent one week in Positano, Italy and had the best pasta making experience of your lives at Donna Rosa. The chef, Erika along with her sister and beautiful mother, were jewels. And the food. OMG was incredible. If you looking for fun, excitement, and good food, you have to spend a day with... More

A group of 13 of us from Maryland vacationed in Positano, Italy last week. We stayed in one of the very nice villas atop Positano. Our vacation package included a cooking demonstration from the Donna Rosa Ristorante. This vacation exceeded my every expectation, and one of the reasons was my very special visit with what I now consider my Italian... More

The entire restaurant is run by one family. Mom is in the kitchen, dad is host and sister is attending tables. I had the most incredible eggplant ravioli. The service is attentive and friendly and i definitely felt like I was part of the family when I left. Definitely a hike from Positano. (25 euros for a cab ride if... More

Had a fantastic meal here with the Black and White seafood pasta. The flavor was what I been searching for since I arrived in Italy. Great wine list which catered for all tastes and budgets. Staff were great and helpful.
