The great thing about this beach is that dogs are allowed and they can also swim in the water. The sea is beautiful here and seeing as it is outside of Porto Recanati, it's not too crowded even in August. However, there needs to be...an improvement in customer service. The lifeguards/ beach workers were just plain lazy. They spent the whole time staring at their phones or just looking plain bored and any requests were met with incomprehensible grunts. Keep an eye on your children/friends as you can be sure the lifeguard WILL NOT be looking out for you. Toilets: one toilet for the whole beach and restaurant. Dirty, half broken and long queues. Needs to be improved. There is no where to get changed as the toilet is too dirty. Most places have cabins. Overall, this could be such a great place, if only they put more effort in. It seems that the focus is on the restaurant and not the beach. It's such a shame.More

I was so happy to find this place with my wife and kids. We visited Porto Recanati two weeks ago and despite the incredible heat we decided to walk around and explore the little town. We found Pineta Beach right outside of the center and...were pleasantly surprised by how different this place looks like compared to all the others. We had the feeling of being far away from the noisy jam-packed typical italian seaside but truth is it was only about a 15 min walk from our hotel downtown. The beach is clean and there's a special area for dogs if I remember correctly. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and everything was fresh and tasty, reasonably priced. The service was impeccable. Most importantly, we met the owner and she spoke great English.More
