Our hotel recommended this as one of the two best seafood restaurants in town . It is a small deck over the water and sparsely decorated and furnished. The wine list is very mediocre but worst of all we were horrofied when told they had...More
Within the fairly poor restaurant scene of Porto Ercole, la Pinta is always a safe choice. Great location, fairly rich food offer. With a bit more effort it might get promoted higher: i.e. improve its fresh fish offering (sometime the daily catch available does not...More
La Pinta is probably the only restaurant worth going to in the actual town of Porto Ercole, the staff is nice (albeit not particularly fast) and food is excellent. In fact, it surpasses your somewhat typical 'good local restaurant food' by often adding an interesting...More
La Pinta is a small, pleasant, family-run restaurant on the waterfront in Porto Ercole. Their antipasti are particularly varied and delicious. The fish is always fresh and not over-cooked. We happen to have known the family for many years so are possibly prejudiced in their...More

Everything was absolutely perfect and fresh. Unexpectedly well cooked, looked kind of simple from the outside. Seafood from the gulf. Highly recommend! Will come back tomorrow.
Really excellent and true food, especially after a few days in much overtouristic Rome. Fine local artigianale wine as well. May be, Michelin guide worth. Will be back tomorrow.
Unpretentious exterior but superb and very very fresh fish and sea food - all to an absolutely stunning view. Example - seafood pasta 14 euros. Good wine choices too.
Good quality seafood menu in restaurant overlooking the harbour. Not too busy as during midweek at end of season, but service was good as was the food. Great location and recommended.
Visited late Saturday afternoon still serving food. Quite unusual for Italians. Ordered Fritto misto of the gulf and spaghetti pomodoro. Both delicious freshly cooked. Had local white wine and lemon sorbet . Not expensive nicely done restaurant
