Limited menu made up of local dishes was very tasty. The owners made us most welcome and offered advise on local dishes and wine. The atmosphere is is relaxed and reminiscent of times gone by. Would recommend for dinner and will certainly visit again.

The ambiance and the charm of this restaurant is rustic and first class at the same time. The owners and staff make you feel right at home as they feed you gourmet meals. You will not be disappointed if you book a table here as you enjoy the finer Italian cuisine. A definite must do!

We were on a business meeting in Pordenone and were looking for somewhere to eat dinner, when we came across this excellent traditional restaurant by chance. Great menu of local dishes, staff were very helpful and friendly - as we spoke very little Italian! - and they made some great recommendations for a selection of dishes for us. Food was... More

Went back to this restaurant after about 15 years, passing by while going to another area. I hoped was still the same, it was. Parking: No parking, must be reached by walk, in the downtown, use one of the local parking close to downtown Ambience: Excellent, still same as many years ago, a jump in the past (old style place)... Nice and characteristic restaurant in a nice side of Pordenone. Very good typical Friulano food and good wine. Good service

We had a wonderful lunch there on the little terrace on the small street just in front and everthing tasted exquisite, fresh, and was served by charmkng staff. The food is very classic, the ingredients specially good and prepared, a fine, delicate and pure experience of taste. Would have loved to eat there every day. We had coffee and wine... More

Monday nights in Italy are tough. Not many places are open. Came upon this spot and decided to have a bite. Almost $50 for 2 appetizers 1 glass of wine and 1 beer. Water of the house (no name no bottle). Food was fair at best way overpriced. Stay away

We came here on a Saturday night and were warmly welcomed. The locale is antique looking and comfortable. The toilets are lovely! We had the second course; my husband had a great curry with prawns and I had a beef filet and a salad, accompanied with red wine. The wine selection is good. We really enjoyed it, however I'd say... Pordenone may not be the premier destination point for people vacationing in Italy but we found that it was ideally situated for day trips to Verona,Venice and other popular sites. While in Pordenone we found several good restaurants but enjoyed dinner at La Vecia the best.We dined there twice to make sure the first fabulous meal wasn't a fluke. Both times... More
