It is a typically friulan, country style restaurant. We ordered roast beef medium (tagliata di manzo). They served the beef medium raw, so the meat had to be re-grilled. This damaged the valuable meat as the strips of meat were grilled all around. When we...paid we got a typed bill with a grand total instead of itemized. We complained and were given a handwritten receipt with the items see pic. Unfortunately, the prices of the dishes did not match the menu, which is a real pity. Because of the previous discussion, we did not complain about the extra few euros. Please pay attention to your bill in this restaurant!More

Not my first visit, but my first review. Great food, but service was very slow. Slow to take orders, slow for food to come out. In the old town, centrally located in a quiet square. Excellent menu and food. Great wine selection. English menu available....Major CC accepted.More

I was here 3 years ago for work, so when in January I knew I should be returned in Pordenone I scheduled the visit to this restaurant. Nothing is changed in 3 years the food quality is the same and the environment too. So I...found great quality and I enjoyed a great evening in Pordenone. In the end I will return here the next time I'll visit this great city located in the northeast of Italy.More

Very accomodating staff, suggested all the gluten-free possibilities. Such tasty mushroom dinner also not too salty homemade sausage. Returned several times. Quick attentive service. House wine fine. Didn't try the desserts because the gelato shop is just down the street.

Visited on a recent business trip on a evening before a public holiday. The place is pretty small and it was very busy. When I was seated, the owner was a little abrupt although she warmed up a little when I went along with her...wine recommendation!. The proscuitto was excellent (not St Danielle) and the Burrata was the best I have ever tasted. I had the Pumpkin Ravioli for the second plate and it was disappointing. In summary - Interesting place with character.More

We were seated and given a menu, five minutes later rushed to order. Veal stew was stringy obviously from another day. Wine was brought to the table opened... a no no.

I've been invited there by my colleague. Food was fresh and good. Menu has many typical dishes for this region. It was nice to eat something else than pizza or pasta.

Situated on a back street in the town of Pordenone, this is a hidden gem. The owner waits on you and suggests a few daily specials. The cheese board is from a local mini fromage farm with 21 cows. It's a must try for 9...euros. I had the wild boar fettuccini which was excellent. Paired with a local wine, a great evening.More

Fully booked, but the waitress was kind enough to find some room for us. Prosciutto and cheese with local wine to start with. Excellent gluten free pasta as primi and ribs as secondi. We were treated some local dessert wine together with panacotta as final....Yummy!More

What a wonderful night in Pordenone Italy. We choose to eat outside and the atmosphere & setting was very comfortable. We ordered three items recommended by the owner and we loved each meal and the wine. Thank you for a great meal.

Ridiculous portions, bad service, cheap house wine, waitress badly miss a shower, even bread was not available after first basket, though only 10 guests at the place. The area is the home of super famous "San Daniele" ham, they don't have, instead the served us...some smoked ham as in Prague .More

A good team here, offering top-class dishes in a locale with charming atmosphere and a shady table outside in the quiet street on summer days. The menu is extensive but I'd recommend their picanha, just because I can! Good wine too. Pedestrian only, so park...down by the river and walk here.More

The hostessof this charming small restaurant cked away between the tower and the beautiful theater in Pordenone is tasty and inexpensive. The cooking is creative but always true to the region of Friuli, north of Venice. After spending a week at the annual world renowned...silent film festival, I had the opportunity to eat at several local restaurants or lunch and dinner. Al Cavaliere Perso became our go to place. Their fish and seafood dishes were flavorful and perfectly done and their pastas were also very good. Salads and other green vege dishes were also excellent.More
