This fantastic restaurant in in a perfect location in Orvieto next to the funicular, the food is delicious 😋 this is a fantastic family run restaurant very accommodating, my family and I have been coming to this restaurant for around 15 years and we always...return as the food is so good, we personally over the years have become good friends with the owners what lovely friendly people they are. What a pleasure to have met them they always have time for us. A huge recommendation from myself and all my family, see you in December 💯🙏🔝✅🎉👏More

Very gracious and accommodating host. Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere on a damp and rainy day. This was a perfect end to our Orvieto exploration and a really nice place to spend the time waiting for the return train to Rome

Thanks to Trip Advisor we found this little place tucked away by the train station on our way out of Orvieto. Excellent pasta and a plate of grilled vegetables. Very local.

We had the Wild Boar Cattchiatore (excuse spelling) with oven baked potatoes with house red wine. Fantastic. Adolfo says he shot the boar himself and talked to us about shooting game in Italy. Great host. Very close to station.

Don't miss this wonderful little spot tucked next to the funicolare station and directly across from the train station. The owners greet you, serve you, and do the cooking with a personal touch-- we were asked if there was something we wanted that wasn't on...the menu or if we wanted a slight change to a dish that was there. My brother and I shared three types of homemade pasta, each with a different sauce. We had a nice bottle of wine, reasonably priced ($12 EUR where our hotel charged $32 EUR for the same bottle), and a large bottle of water (the only place in Orvieto that didn't charge $5 EUR for a single bottle). Regardless of cost, this was easily the best meal we had and the service was beyond anything else we experienced in Italy. If you are arriving on the train, departing by train, or stopping in Orvieto during a long drive, you won't be disappointed with this option. You won't get fancy china or expensive silverware, but you'll feel right at home in authentic restaurant with great food at a good price.More

Nicely decorated, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a reasonably good offer of italian food. It is well located, in front of the station, the staff is very friendly and provided us a nice memory of Orvieto. Very close to hotel Picchio, it is...a nice combination for a short-visit.More
