If you like pork, the "Boffo" appetizer is not to be missed. It was heavenly - fried pork cheeks (guanciale) topped with 2 kinds of balsamic vinegar. The crispy salty bacon was so perfectly complemented by the sweet tangy vinegar. We wanted to lick the plate clean :). The carbonara topped with black truffles was also amazing.

As we walked by this charming restaurant we spotted the special Trip Advisor sticker with a very high designation on the door so we made it a point to find it again after our sightseeing in Orvieto. Although it was not such an easy feat given the labyrinth of streets, it was well worth the effort. We were warmly greeted... More

I am afraid that we will see this kind of restaurants slowly disappear. The food is very good, you can taste the time, effort and passion. Not commercial, the "nonna's" just want to share their food. Be kind and remember this endangered species.

We enjoyed an early meal after a long day's travel, and even though we were the only table in the place (we arrived a little earlier than our 7:30 intention) this is no negative reflection on the food. The menu doesn't offer a lot of choice, but ample for most. We sampled 2 pasta dishes (one with truffle, one with... More

We ate at this restaurant today and had an excellent experience. The owner spent a lot of time explaining the different choices and making suggestions. There were 6 of us and we were all pleased with our food. The truffle pasta was delicious. The home made cheeses were tasty, and the unique ravioli made with cacao was a big hit.... More

We had a lovely late lunch at this fine and very charming ristorante. The owner and chef were very kind ladies who provided warm and friendly service and atmosphere with wonderful food and excellent local wines. Definitely try the cheese platter appetizer as it is very special in house made Sheeps cheese. My fresh porcini pasta was exactly perfect and... More

The very friendly owner made some off-the-menu suggestions which allowed us to discover the best carpaccio (with manzo that ripened for 2 months in fine herbs) ever. And the kids, who were very welcome, loved their dishes!

We came here looking for a real Italian experience - based on TA reviews this looked like the place. We had lived in Italy for several years a few years ago, so know some Italian (this is a very, very Italian family run restaurant, with little English speaking available). If you know a little Italian it is a little more... More

The owner described the dishes to us and recommended we try their home made cheeses which were unique and superb. The pig cheeks were delicious. And, the ravioli was superb -could have eaten double! The home made peach ice cream was an excellent end to the meal.
