We came to this restaurant following the suggestion of the owner of our B&B. This restaurant specializes in fresh fish and seafood, and offered a number of dishes based on the day fresh catch. One could take three to five dishes which were the selection of that day for a price ranging from 20 to 30 Euros per person. We... More

Wow - the food was amazing. Excellent fish dinner based of the fresh fish available. We dined inside the beautiful trattoria - it was a bit small but so beautiful with the exposed bricks. They have a fixed menu and we dined on wonderful fresh fish. The staff was great - friendly, offered wine suggestions, there when you had a... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant today and dined in their outdoor summer dining room. The menu is fixed, and new every day. We wanted a light lunch, so only had their antipasto for the day, which was a salad of octopus and potato (insalata di polpo e patate), as well as a mixed green salad with tomatoes... More

We eat a 3 course menu for 30€ and it was really very nice! I usually do not enjoy seafood, but this time it was so well mad that even I was really satisfied. Together with the dessert it was 6 plates of food following each other with nice gap of time, allowing you to really enjoy. Staff was nice... More

This is an excellent fish restaurant where the menu is made every day upon fresh fish availability. The chef Sandro visits the city's fish market and adapts the menu accordingly. The way the dishes are cooked and arranged is aimed at putting the spotlight on the freshness of raw ingredients. It'worth every Euro. Go there!!

Maybe the food was good, but I'll never know because they treated me so bad that I leave without even try. I booked 3 days before, it wasn't enough the guy failed to find it and, in addition to his lack of organization, they never even try to fix it but reply rouglhy: "this whatbit is, if you don 't... We had the fixed lunch menu at Euro 27.- (3 courses!!) The first dish was whole scampi flesh with rocket salad. Second dish was delicate filletted fish followed by spaghetti with sea food. The bottle of wine was only Euro 12.- Service fine, friendly staff and a lovely decorated restaurant. Will definitely return there on my next trip to Ortona.

My husband and I ate lunch here today. Yes, it is a fixed menu and they just serve fish and seafood but if you love seafood as we do, this is a lovely place to eat. The fish is extremely fresh and well prepared, delicious light oil and fresh lemons. We had the grilled tuna...so perfectly done. I enjoyed an... More

Good trattoria in a great area of Ortona, near the sea and the castle. Small but beautiful, they serve a fixed menu that depends on the fish available. The full course menu is the best price value option at 40€ but plates are big and it's hard to finish all. Service is slow, so take your time. However staff is... More
