Perfectly acceptable spot for lunch. Sat out in the tables on the street and had a decent set of pizzas with the family. Service could have been a bit quicker but decent food at reasonable prices.

These guys really don't care....we walked in off the street for a drink and pizza, we ordered Aperol Spritz but were told they had run out of ice (really) and then served two locals 5 min later with Spritz & Ice. We ordered a Margherita...Pizza and a Fuego Pizza (Has Salami, Olives and Peppers) The Margherita arrived with no basil...we asked where was the basil and were told they had a busy day and had run out..ya cant serve a Margherita without basil its not a Margherita its a cheese and tomato pizza!!!! The Fuego turned up without peppers and when questioned was told the "chilli flakes" on top were peppers...and what we got was very greasy mushy pizza...worst pizzas in 13 trips to Italy. They waiters didn't care...the cook and owner spent most of the time outside smoking.....the worst eating experience EVER in Italy...these guys really let Montepulciano downMore

We came here pretty much at random as they had a spare table and we were starving. We ended up loving it. The portions here are HUGE and my husband had one of the best steaks of the holiday. I had a pizza which, whilst...not the absolute best of the trip, was very enjoyable and good value for money. I would recommend if you are looking for a casual bite to eat!More

On our last day in beautiful Montepulciano after having tons of fabulous food all we wanted was a simple good ole Italian pizza. Since the weather wasn’t great we decided to stop at this place as it looked cute and was at the top of...a steep hill. Huge mistake. The pizza was a 3/10 at best! We got the margarita which was just a soggy, oily, mess. We also got the prosciutto which was similar but with just chunks of average ham on it. With amazing places just steps away please avoid. Service was not good either. After a week in Italy this is my only complaint on any restaurant.More

We stopped for lunch today. We ordered two pizzas and wine. Both pizzas were very short on toppings. The Siciliana pizza had few capers and even fewer anchovies and the Margherita with basil had none visible. Average service from a disinterested server. It could have...been a very enjoyable place for lunch.More

It was that time in the day were it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner, but we just came back from a morning of wine tasting and exploring and we were hungry. After meandering around for a bit we decided to...just settle for this little bistro, ok it didn't look particularly appealing, but thought we'd give it a go anyway. The service was slow and our waitress wasn't the most welcoming, but the poor girl seemed like she was on her own. My friend opted for a pear carpaccio, which came out looking more like a cheese board with a couple of pear slices on top, it wasn't the worse I guess, but I wouldn't place that as a carpaccio. I opted for the tagliatelle al cinghiale (a dish I've been eating my weight in since arriving in Italy) and to be completely honest, it must have been the best one I've had! The meat was actual chunks of boar (well, who knows if it was boar as I'm not sure when boar season actually is) but nonetheless it was pieces of meat. It was seasoned well and the tagliatelle was just right. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, apart from my friend's dish which was just ok, but if you want wild boar tagliatelle, their one is worth trying.More

We walked in and it was small and didn't look inviting BUT looks are deceiving. The food was really good. Starters and main course meals were delicious. Dessert was amazing with nice hot coffee. Not rushed at any point we stayed for several months. Would...we go back? In a New York minute! 9/10 is not overstated. A+More

We arrived from Rome pretty late to Montepulciano, and walked in to Bistrot Br del Tribunale around 9 30 pm or later, I think closing time was 10) but we get a full welcome, never felt rushed, had a nice talk with the waitresses, the...food was perfect, ambiance super and the chef come out to our table had a little talk with him at the table and later at the bar area. Pleasant people, nice atmosphere and superb food. Thank you for the very memotiable Mothers day dinner. Grazie. GianninoMore

The location is perfect being on the main shopping route through Montepulciano heading uphill towards the grand plaza. As such, they have a steady throughput of custom without having to try to attract customers. When I had lunch here on Sept 4th 2018 I was...able to be seated immediately and the service was fast and friendly (although there was some confusion due to having two separate waitresses, one for drinks only and one for food only, which was odd). The pizza I ordered was undercooked but the ingredients were fine and the lunch tasty and filling. Not necessarily highly recommended but nothing wrong with the restaurant either.More
