They push truffles and give you a dusting you can almost see. The food is way to complicated. My homemade pasta sat in a beetroot juice paste that ruined the flavor. Keeping it simple never works better than with the local food. This restaurant is...More

We literally wandered into the restaurant looking for lunch and were seated quickly and pleasantly. We had no idea what to expect but perceived immediately that we had wandered into something upscale, serious, and promising. However the bread and the amuse were the highlights. I...More

We had a lovely lunch here today! Everything was great starting with a nice amuse and apertive. Great dishes, the wild boar with chocolate was one of the best dishes ever! The friendly staff made having lunch here a feast!

Tiny place with lack of Tuscan authenticity. Friendly service. Meals presentation like the fast food - fried vegetable tempura style in a paper hornet. Risotto like porridge. No food to match nice local Nobile and Brunello wines.

This was recommended as one of the two best restaurants in town. We were there when they opened and it was a bit too warm in the restaurant. The waiters were friendly but a little stiff. We thought the food was good and although it...More

Cozy setting in the lovely village of Montepulciano. Delicious, contemporary twists on traditional Tuscan foods. The "coperto" (cover charge) is reasonable and included Prosecco and creamy white bean soup with quail egg. Kind, un-intrusive service and great wine recommendations.

Description
The restaurant Le Logge del Vignola is located in the heart of Montepulciano's old town centre, across from the renowned loggia attributed to "Vignola". There are two elegant, comfortable rooms where, by candlelight, guests can savour dishes from the Tuscan repertoire as well as the restaurant's own distinctive cuisine, accompanied by excellent, local wines. The restaurant is air conditioned. There is a temporary exhibition of art works by Gino Filippeschi. Seasonally available ingredients form the basis of a cuisine that primarily features local products and, taking inspiration from tradition, reimagines them in a way that is adapted to today's tastes. Among the restaurant's offerings: a tasting menu of special cheeses, flambe cuisine and much more... The cellar is stocked with a careful selection of wines from Tuscany and beyond, with the possibility of pairing, even by the glass, suggested by Sommelier Massimo Stella. Owner: Massimo Stella, Executive Chef: Federico La Rocca.
