We ate there for Mother's Day of this year. It truly was a exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is lovely and inviting. Massimo, Chef/Owner is a beautiful soul and gifted artisan. Virginia, our Server was a delight. They both made the experience one that will...never be forgotten. Truly, there are no words for the exquisite tastes of everything served. I felt like we were eating at one of The Best Restaurants in the World. The presentation was outstanding, the love and respect that went into creating the whole experience will forever live in my heart. I will return to Italy again and again and eat there EVERY time.More

We have been dining at Logge del Vignola since 2004, whenever we are in Montepulciano. Massimo and his daughter Virginia offer a memorable experience. The decor is elegant, the presentation of the dishes is exquisite, and the service is impeccable. The food is always delicious...and carefully prepared. On our last visit, we especially loved the Gran Fritto Toscano (fried vegetable antipasto, including garlic scapes that were especially delectable), the homemade pici, and the chocolate sphere dessert which is a true showstopper. Bravissimi!More

After 3 weeks in Italy, with numerous gourmet meals under our belts, this restaurant stands out, head and shoulders above any other. Massimo and Virginia took care of us, and they went above and beyond, over and over again. Talk about top notch customer service!...The dinner courses and wine pairing recommendations were high quality in all respects. The meal was memorable, down to every detail. The food appealed to all of our senses...visual presentation unlike any other and delightful explosive flavors. Everything spoke the language of "gourmet and unique" in a way that we've never felt before. I can't begin to describe the experience with words. Overwhelmingly satisfying. Affordable with exceptional value. I will return to ITALY just to visit this restaurant again!More

My husband and I and the three friends we traveled with to Tuscany were enjoying Montepulciano on a rainy afternoon just after Easter. It was lunchtime, and we were hungry, so we started the task of reviewing menus posted at restaurants along the main street....Luckily, after considering several and deciding to move along, my eye caught a sign just around the corner. The posted menu looked just a bit more thoughtful and interesting than the others. A glance inside showed a cozy and pretty space with white linen tablecloths and brick walls. We went in, and were “wowed.” This was truly a gastronomic experience, complete with delightful service and special gifts from the chef. We stayed for more than two hours and left sated in body and soul. I, unfortunately, failed to make note of all the wonderful dishes we had. I know that my husband started with a chicken liver pâté that he proclaims he’ll dream about for years. I had, for my primi, a dish of pasta Paranese with purple cabbage, ginger, and coconut cream—which probably sounds odd, but is sublime. One of our friends had the traditional pici, which was so fresh it had probably not been made until she ordered it. And so on. Of course, we washed it all down with an excellent vino Nobile. The chef spoiled us with amuse bouches and some delicious dessert extras. All the while, our personable, and English-speaking, waitress took good care of us. We love this part of Tuscany, and we’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant. Please, if you go anywhere near Montepulciano, try it out. It should have been, but wasn’t even expensive.More

Wow - can’t even begin to describe the amazing experience we had! Staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. We did the four course tasting menu - each dish not only tasted incredible, but the presentation was gorgeous. It’s obvious that the chef put a...lot of thought into their food. We opted for the wine pairing and it didn’t disappoint. Many of the wines were local and absolutely delicious. The cuisine was some classic Italian, some local fare, and some just indescribable, unique takes on classics. The staff made us truly feel like family - they even opened a 1989 Brunello and shared it with each guest the night we were there! If you’re in Montepulciano, this is a must try. You won’t regret the experience and you’ll never forget the incredible food and service!More

This is hands down one of the top restaurants I have ever been to. Each plate was creative, beautiful, and delicious - unlike anything else you can find in Italy. We are from New York and I can tell you this food was better than...anything you’d find there. The most unique flavors - anyone who writes a bad review of this place does not know what they are talking about. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about all the wines and the menu. I’ll be thinking about this meal for many year and look forward to coming back one day. If you are in Montepulciano, Le Logge del Vignola is an absolute must.More

Be prepared to wait half an hour for your first drink while the restaurant is still empty. If you get a drink, order 2 because they are not coming back for a second order. Be careful that you’re not hungry because the portions are extremely...small. Food is net very tastefull. Don’t be critical because the friendly wsiter, wha has been talking with friens will too long, will turn into a very nasty person. ( I’m always right) We will never come back again.More

Fantastic experience and worthy of the Michelin recognition. Tasting menu was a delight. Crispy duck was phenomenal. The dessert, a chocolate sphere, was unlike anything we’ve ever had, melting milk chocolate, white chocolate, mascarpone and caramel cream as it was lit on fire table side....Setting was amazing. Great for date night.More

We had dinner in this restaurant and we had the « surprise » three-course meal with assorted wines. My first course was a risotto with truffles that was excellent. Our second course was meat with great assorted red wines from the region. The cuisine is quite creative....Service was friendly. A bit pricey but worth it.More

Positive: super friendly service-the young lady was very professional. The setting within the city center of Montepulciano is a dream. Negative: The food has no taste, no finesse, no nothing, someone is trying to serve a Michelin-type-of-food that is just not good. As a greeting...you receive sparkling wine that tasted good but was way to warm and came in the cheapest glass and moreover only one zip. If you want to do something good it should be presented in a way that the guest feels the hospitality and does not feel fooled. Above our heads was a cellphone placed within the sunshade that played Barry white music- that not in any kind suited the natural Tuscan surrounding. We choosed the restaurant because of the Guide Michelin Michelin recommendation, it was the biggest fail I had in many years.More

This restaurant has good service, conscientious cooking, and elegant presentation, but for my palate the dishes were a bit dry, salty, and lacking in flavor. My dissatisfaction may be due to my own personal taste bias, so I wouldn't want to dissuade others from trying...it. Portions are very large--the chef kindly offered me a plastic box for my leftover cheese, which provided me with lunch the next three days!More
