My husband and I had a very short trip to the Montegrotto Terme region. The town wasn't very packed...which we absolutely loved! It was a nice quiet town, but with beauty etched in every corner. This restaurant added to the beauty. About a 10 minute...walk from our hotel we stopped here for a dinner. Sitting outside we enjoyed the classical Italian dinner that goes on for hours, but feels like minutes sitting next to the locals in an outside setting. The food was wonderful and the staff were highly knowledgable in their craft, providing feedback and recommendations that put us at ease and added to the whole experience. We got a orata con patata and a fresh made ravioli and dessert while not missing out on wine. All of it was scrumptious and worth the journey. Great experience wonderful restaurant. Don't miss out! :)More

On my second night I went to Mamma Perdonami with my wife for an early evening meal. The restaurant was friendly and we shared an antipasta of dried meats which was followed by Ravioli for my wife and Bigoli cacio e pepe style. I would...describe the food as OK but is suspect that on my return to Montegrotto I will try another restaurant rather than returning.More

After seeing the great rating this place had me and a friend came to try it out for lunch. The homey, kitschy interior will divide opinions, personally I thought it was nice but I can definitely see how someone would hate it. The waiter, an...older gentleman, didn't speak much English and albeit we were billed the cover charge he didn't bring us olive oil and balsamico with the bread (we had to request it). As he didn't speak much English it was a struggle to have the dishes explained. This lead to me getting a dish with ingredients which I said I can't eat them when we were ordering. The food was tasty but definitely not worth the very high price. A nice plus was the sparkling water which was oxygenated instead of carbonated.More

Warm welcome and quickly seated. The starters we're good (pasta dish, soup, and veal) but one of the starter dishes was mixed up with a second course meal (didn't realise until the bill came) and the second courses: pizza and a duck dish we're unfortunately...very much below par. Pizza dough was dry, powdery and sickly and almost like a supermarket packaged dough rather than a well proofed dough. The duck dish didn't arrive (they forgot) and when reminded it took them over 20 minutes to deliver it, sadly, when it did arrive, the duck/deep fried tempura aubergine was charred, which left a bitter taste throughout the entire dish. It was also supposed to be with orange, but there was barely any sauce which might've help offset the over greasy combo with the deep fried aubergine. Overall unsatisfied, but to their credit they did offer a small discount.More

I have visited this restaurant with my wife. The place was warm and cozy and it had a nice homely feel to it. The food and wine served here were supreme. Thank you very much

The place is well rated and seems understandably liked by locals as its was full on weekend nights. Atmosphere is fine on the terrace, a bit stiff inside, staff is fine but not as welcoming as elsewhere. Menu is exclusively in Italian, which caused us...a disappointing misunderstanding (tagliata di tonno is very different from tagliatelle al tonno!). Presentation and preparation are a bit more sophisticated than elsewhere but not more tasty, smaller portions and higher prices.More

A small family-run restaurant. The menu is not big, but everything is cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and relaxed. Can get busy so better book in advance.
