My husbans is Italian and loved cannoli and other kinds of italian pastries. We went there a few times to get a little extra and left happy every time.

Best pasticceria in Tuscany by a country mile. Go there every day while here. Great food, superb caffe macchiato and great for people watching.

Stopped in for a gelato on our way back to our hotel after a day in Florence. Sat in the air-conditioned shop eating delicious ice cream. The cone was very tasty too! Wonderful displays of pastries in the shop and in the windows. Very friendly staff.

We would come here once or twice a day, they had great coffee, great pastries, cakes and more - looks like the local meeting place - great atmosphere, here we bought all our gifts for the extended family in the UK

Wow! What a fabulous shop. Open long hours and serving the local people as well as tourists. Excellent pastries, coffee and ice creams. situated in the town centre just off the main square and easily accessible. A must to see and taste. If you buy any food to eat out it is beautifully almost gift wrapped with such care too.

Montecatini is a delightful town, and Pasticceria Giovanni is reminiscent of yesteryear with cakes, biscuits and sandwiches that are so fresh and light. Coffee is excellent. Try their "rock cakes" (English translation) with pine nuts. Yum.

At the time I went pasticceria Giovannini had window decorations of beautiful large chocolate Easter eggs. I went into the store and looked around and found something I liked from my childhood. They were a box of 4 eggs that are hard sugar shell on the outside lined on the inside with chocolate. Maybe someone else remembers them. They had... More

They have the best coffee and pastries in town! Pay at the register, you will get a receipt then go to the counter and present your receipt. The best cafe freddo or cappuccino you will have in Italy! Wonderful pastries and sweets to bring home as gifts. Is right off the main square.
