Pasticceria Giovanni is a beautiful shop just off the main square in Montecatini at the end of Corso Giacomo Matteotti. Their selection of sweet treats is huge and they're displayed in large glass cases and in the big windows facing the sidewalk. I particularly enjoyed the candied hazelnuts, candied almonds, and the amaretti cookies. Staff was very helpful and prices,... More

What a great place!!! Everyday after our sightseeing we would stop by for Limoncello and some treats. Andrea was one of the most pleasant and charming people we met during our week in Italy. He always greeted us with a handshake and smile and seemed truly happy to see us. it was our last stop on our way out of... More

This is so much more than a regular coffee shop. They have myriad fresh-made pastries, sandwiches, and snacks in addition to great coffee. Stop in any time of day for a treat and to mingle with the locals

Cappucino, gelato, panaforte, cakes, cookies. It's all amazing. Try the caramelized hazelnuts. Nice people, really lovely treats. I would live there.

This place was great. My 3 kids, wife, and I all were able to try all the flavors of gelato. My one daughter is in love with icecream and rated Giovannini's as the best we had (out of many in and around montecatini) They also have dozens upon dozens of small treats and pastries available. The chocolates and treats were... More

Professionally attired baristas will serve you excellent espresso or cappuccino while you stand at the bar shoulder to shoulder, nibbling scrumptious pastries with the locals on their way to work. Author Donna Leon’s character Commissario Guido Brunetti would find himself right at home here. Later in the day the same bar transitions to serving spritzes, wine and cocktails. Each order... More

Stopped by several nights after dinner. They wrap up treats nicely to take home...or have them there with a drink or coffee at the bar!
