We ate here on our last night in Venice. Good choice of dishes and tasty food at a reasonable price. Only criticism is that like many Venetian restaurants they do not have a children's menu or serve child portions.

Came here as soon as it opened this evening. Got our food and drinks super quick. My margherita pizza was only €6! Service slowed down a bit as it got busy (the place suddenly filled up within five minutes so it’s understandable really). Staff lovely,...food brilliant and gin portion in g&t plentiful! Will be back again, thanks for a lovely meal :-)More

We stayed in Mestre for our visit to Venice & had dinner here while checking out their city center and Christmas market. Very good food...would definitely recommend this place.

I have to say having quickly checked Trip Advisor and read a couple of not so good reviews for this restaurant we nearly didn’t go but it was getting late and we couldn’t find many places that suited both of us so plumped for the...Pizzeria Garibaldi. We were welcomed in and immediately shown to a table by a very polite, friendly waiter. We ordered pasta and pizza and a couple of glasses of house wine. I had the home made tiramisu which was delicious. Everything came fairly quickly and was good, traditional food. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and helpful. The place was clearly popular with locals which is always a good sign. The price was very reasonable. If you’re looking for good, honest food without any pretentions you won’t go far wrong.More

Settling in the full restaurant was good, but then nobody noticed us for 25 minutes. We waited another 30 minutes to order, almost starving. It is a pity, because Capriciosa was otherwise very tasty, even when baked a little.

we were there on May 23, 2019. We were sooo advised to try in Italy risotto. Of course, to be in Italy and not try it is nonsense. Here we are before leaving Venice, already went to a restaurant. To our subsequent horror, this was...Garibaldi’s bar. wife wanted pasta, and I wanted risotto, but we were denied preparation of one portion of the risotto, and wife had to take it too. The whole joke is that we refused to buy anything to drink from them. They are very strained. With us they could get money only for risotto .. these are unprofitable tourists 😬🤪. Then these friends found just the risotto that they brought to us, it was so salty that it was impossible to finish eating it without water 🤦🏾‍♀. Since eating it the first time, at first we thought that it could be such seasonings. And they watched us. When I looked at the menu on the subject of drinking, they immediately flew up. But we did not take all the same. I did not have this horror. Even in the invoice billed 4 euros for the service-tin, for what? We rushed to the airport, so I did not get involved with them. But then I regretted, I had to let them eat it .. I just can’t recommend this place. They just give you money as much as they can.More

We stumbled across this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. From walking in and being handed an English version menu to the recommendations of what to order. The two pasta dishes we ordered were to die for. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too....Would definitely recommend this restaurant.More

The restaurant offers a wide range of Italian dishes which are cooked perfectly. The prices are cheap compared to others in the area; the staff were friendly and speak broken English.

We'd made a reservation on a Saturday evening so expected it to be full with slow service...... and weren't disappointed. Certainly very, very popular and lots of locals. The tables are close to one another - too close to be honest if you're a couple....Pleased no one else around us spoke English since everyone was well within earshot. We both opted for pizza...... my wife's was with tuna, anchovies and onions, I went for the salami/gorgonzola version. Took 10 minutes to get a drink and another 20 to get our pizzas, we didn't mind since the atmosphere in Garibaldi is friendly and happy, quite enjoyed watching the locals chattering 90 to the dozen! The prices for pizzas were slightly high but worth it.... but the drinks were ridiculously expensive to be honest.More

Very nice place to eat. Mestre is a place for locals and visitors. The resto was clean nice food served by a lovely gentleman. It's a very family orinatated place where the staff give a homely feel. Would love to go back here. Not expensive.

Arrived 15 minutes before closing time and thry were happy to seat us but wanted us finished soon. Lasagne was cold and not very nice. No sign of the waiter. Location nice under clock tower.

This is a fine pizza place. Nothing bad nothing especially good. Except one thing. I loved the strange pizzas they have. They even had a rolled up pizza!
