I so much appreciate it when cafes have vegan options available, Soul Kitchen is one of them. Thanks!

Had one meal because it looked nice & clean, staff a bit unsociable, I enjoyed my meal, (carbonara ) my husband had the vegetarian pasta ( which he said was awful)

We had supper here. It was good. We found it a bit expensive but that is fairly normal for a hotel restuarant. It gets quite busy as its open to everyone, not just hotel guest

We went in for a quiet romantic meal as the place looked clean and modern, we asked for two beers to start off with. The beers came with black stuff floating in them which looked like they had just cleaned the pipes and not pulled...all the dirty beer through. The waiter was lovely and when we pointed out the dirty beers he replaced them. Then the waitress came over and took our orders, she was rushing and wasn’t actually listening to us. When I asked for a Beef Fillet she had to look at the menu and I had to point out the dish which was called “beef fillet”. She was quite rude and abrupt. In total we ordered a starter to share and two main dishes which isn’t a complicated order. The starter came and my boyfriends main dish came aswell. The mozzarella on the starter was bland but the ham was nice. My boyfriend ordered a spaghetti bolognaise which was bland and stodgy the only thing you could taste was the celery so he had to use a lot of Parmesan cheese to eat it. After 20 minutes my main dish arrived which was the beef fillet, for some reason there was some ready salted crisps with some oven wedges that were not seasoned. The steak was amazing (I wasn’t asked how I like my steak cooked, luckily I like mine medium rare so when it came bloody I didn’t mind). All in all a bit of a shamble and we ended up paying 61 euros for it which is stupid, we were given bread that turned out to be 4 euros and were charged for service when a lot of things went wrong. Even though the waiter was lovely, if you are eating round there I would recommend going to the McDonalds in the train station.More

I lived close to this restaurant for five months, which is why I went there at least twice a month for dinner. The service is very friendly, the price for the location absolutely okay. I liked the ambience and what I enjoyed most it that...it is a type of restaurant where you can eat by yourself as well without being looked at weirdly. I took family and friends there as well when they visited, and all of them loved it as well. The food is incredible. I personally stuck to pasta for most of the time and it was some of the best I've ever eaten, especially the Carbonara was a dream. The wine card is also big and you get to taste the wine when ordering to decide if it's too your liking. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and I know that I'll be back if I end up visiting Mestre again!More

To be fair, we entered the restarant at 5.15pm and were told that dinner did not start until 7.00pm. We managed to get some snacks and they had a good drinks menu. Nothing special, but adequate

Ok so I visited this place due to so many good reviews but I was SO disappointed, it’s unreal. Asked for gluten free as I’m a coeliac and was told I can only have the pasta which was fine (I’m used to having limited food...selections). I was served gluten free bread and crackers which I was impressed and surprised by. My husband and I ordered the clam pasta and carbonara. AWFUL. Both our pastas were CRUNCHY- my husbands was also so bland he had to season it and added some olive oil/balsamic vinegar. My carbonara was basically crunchy pasta topped with chunks of bacon AND SCRAMBLED eggs. Absolutely no creaminess whatsoever. It was disgusting and inedible. I’ve never had such awful pasta in my life. I informed the waitress-she said the pasta is cooked ‘al dente’ and agreed that the carbonara was not carbonara like at all (I really didn’t expect to come to Italy and have such awful pasta). Anyway- I switched for the buffalo pomodora which was better (still not that special but it was MUCH better than the carbonara). In image one you’ll see the pastas- looks ok and tastes awful. Second image was after we sent them back to be cooked again. All in all- OK service but really distasteful and bland food and I wouldn’t recommend anyone who’s gluten free to go here.More

You can’t go to Italy and not eat pasta. Close to our hotel and just opposite the train station. Food was very nice, the staff friendly and service good. Well worth a visit.

Last day in Italy and all I wanted was lasagna! The lasagna was great and came out very quick. The male waiter was lovely but the two female waiters seemed unhappy and weren’t friendly. Was given a bread bowl and had read another review where...someone was charged €4 for it so I was apprehensive. This came under the €2 surcharge instead. Overall I enjoyed.More
