Having read these reviews, I find them to have a nearly hallucinatory lack of consistency. Either the moment to moment experience at this restaurant is hugely jumbled, or, well, this is what you get from amateur reviewers. Our B&B proprietors urged this place on us with a fervency that made me wonder if the owner was a brother. The location,... More

Here I ate the best pizza in Sicily! Twice! Even though the coperto is higher than in other restaurants (2,5€/pers), the prices în the menu are correct. A pizza is around 8€ and it is more than enough for a person. I tried also the pasta with tomatoes and pesto, which was not so delicious and very salty. The restaurant... More

Food was so so - my wife's swordfish rolls were more filling and breadcrumbs than fish. My raw seafood sampler was better. But what really turned us off was the complete indifference, inattention and sense of "wish I were somewhere else rather than here" by the wait staff.

This place was packed with locals by the time we finished our meal at 10pm and for good reason - for pretty good prices, the food is overall very very good. We ordered 2 pizzas, a risotto and their mixed grill of meats. The pizzas were fantastic (especially for the prices) and the grilled meat was fantastic too. The risotto... More

Busy restaurant at one of the entrances to the pedestrianised old town. Service was brisk and efficient. The bruschetta starter was excellent - inventive combinations and one serving was enough for two. However, the pizzas were not very good - have had better in the UK and the side salads were very average. The later it got, the busier the... More

Needed our fix of good pizza and this place was right down the street. It get's crazy busy and hard sometimes to get service but the pizza is yummy. There's lots of options so take your time and be ready when they come by to take the order. We were halfway through our wine before we figured out what we... More

I had the Spaghetti alla rustica and the Sicilian meat rolls. My partner had the aromas of Sicily, risotto with different types of herbs, and the meat sampler plate. We were so full when we were done. The food was wonderful, very flavorful, succulent.

I had a beef filet crusted in hazelnut butter and sage, and it was fantastic! The house wine was good, and I think that the quality for the price made it a good deal. The service also was great, but we weren't there when it was busy so I can't speak to service during peak hours.

Very very good food. Friendly service. We've been here two years in a row. Good prices and a large wine menu.
