How is Buongiorno e Buonasera rated?

In the middle of town, busy atmosphere, wait and be seated within a few minutes (if lucky) while you can browse the menu and view the plates being brought out to other guests. Even though it is in the middle of the town it has...beautiful views to Monte Baldo. The restaurant was very busy, one table filled within a minute once someone leaves. For that kind of turnaround the service is attentive and effective. The food - gluten-free Pizza and salmon - were very good, especially the gluten-free Pizza (gluten-free for an extra of 3 Euro) is definitely worth your wait and it comes in a special Aluminium tin to avoid contamination - very thoughtful.More

Disappointing food

Took my friend for a birthday lunch. Her main, goujonada was just a pile of bland chicken nuggets, probably from Lidl , on soggy potatoes piled on even soggier slimy white onions, My very expensive duck breast was OK but no side dish of veg...was given as is the norm in all of the Italians I've visited, I left hungry and £67 out of pocket. But then chefs and staff are Portuguese now I know this im Not going back !More

Perfection at Rooftop restaurant

Local town cafe owner recommended the rooftop restaurant at Buongiorno Buonasera for a fine dining experience. We called mid afternoon and got a same evening table. We could not have imagined just how special it could be. Our host, Claudia, gave us amazing service throughout...our 3 hours dining. She not only showed genuine interest in us but took time to explain details of where the ingredients of each course came from. The chef served up 3 amazing courses of food each dish giving flavours that were just delicious. For an evening of fine food, fabulous service and great views over the lake on one side and up the mountains on the other side this place cannot be beaten.More

Malcesine, time for lunch :)

Very tasty pizzas, fast and pleasant service. Great place. Pizza Margherita and pizza Prosciutto funghi were excelent.

A glorious start into Italian vacation

The truffle pasta is fabulous. And the pizza very tasty. The best start into an Italian cuisine vacation.

Decent meal provided by friendly staff

We ate here on one occasion and were not disappointed. The pizza was very nice and a good size for what we paid. If you eat here you will not go wrong but it has no stand out feature

excellent Pizza and Bruschetta

vibrant piazza vitorio, lots of atmosphere in the square. brushetta was Excellent, capricciosa And calzone pizza wonderful. great service. we had several meals here and all were very good.

And Gelato

This Pizzeria also has a Gelato shop attached - one of many gelato outlets in the town. A single cone is 1.50€. Small serving, average taste.

First time, first class

Spectacular view of Mt. Baldo from this gem of a ristorante! My wife and I tried pizza here after paragliding down the mountain, which earned us a 10% discount off the food. Use Fly2fun to take advantage of this. We would have still been happy...to pay regardless! No language barrier meant service was quick, yet still polite. Red wine was fruity.More

Romantic and great cuisine

Food here is great and price worthy for two vegetarians such as ourselves. Friendly staff and great menu. I would recommend the risotto with sundried tomatoes, pasta with local truffles or pizza with burrata.

Great seafood spaghetti

Made to feel rushed.

We had meal here after a meeting and were made to feel rushed it was just gone 10pm and waiters were a little short with us. The food was average but tasty .

The Duck & Fork

Nicknamed this place The Duck & Fork (see it's logo) Having a trendily designed image, the restaurant manages to be fun and informal, good value and have consistently good food (ate here 3 times) They have the usual pizzas and some tasty alternatives - recommend...the BIG salads, chicken skewers, smoked salmon & leek pasta and the MASSIVE calzones which make you go WOW! Lot's of drink options - recommend carafes of prosecco! Across from the town hall and just up from the lake front, open until midnight but kitchen closes about 11ish.More

Great place and food.....Gluten Free!

We first came here 4 years ago after finding it was one of the few spots in Malcesine offering gluten free pasta. We were back in nearby Val Do Sogno this Summer and spent 75% of our evenings here......Great choice of menu and great treatment...of allergies (gluten and dairy). We munched through various pasta dishes, lasagne, duck, grilled chicken and off course pizza. Staff are great (thanks Patrick and co)...You know you are comfortable when they know your order before you do......We look forward to spending our evenings with you again some time soon....More

lovely food

The food was beautiful the waiter was really helpful getting us a table the restaurant is in a really pretty square.
