Popped in this evening for a few beers and a bite to eat. Lovely service and very reasonable prices. Quick service and nice atmosphere. Food fresh and the platters are huge. We shall return. A nice relaxed change from heavy menus and lots of courses.

visited here in June with a group of 10 family and friends. At €15 for chicken, chips and a beer it's a decent price. However the food is so dry and SO salty. Also the bread that came with my meal was rock solid. Personally I didn't like the conveyor belt type of getting your food and having it on... More

Came here for lunch a few days ago, nice sunny day and it was busy! I was looking forward to some German fare and was disappointed to learn there were only a few options of the day. In saying that the roast chicken was really nice and juicy, well cooked! Was just hoping for some spätzle rather than the boring... More

We went to the one in Malcesine as we were based here and it's apparently the original one as others in for example Limone and Bardolino were opened later and to be fair the food is very good. We were all pasta'd out after 3 days of eating in Italian restaurants and we fancied what was on offer here. Basically... More

A great outdoor space with entertainment for children in a safe environment . Food is simple and the menu is limited but the atmosphere is happy and very casual. Great for big groups. Self service.

After driving up to try Le Dase and finding it was closed we came across Speck Stube. After going in it is immediately very German. Self service we were told then off outside to the grill to pick what we wanted. Chicken, pork leg, ribs or snitzel. Ordered half a chicken each with a plate of fries and a salad.... More

We went one night as a group of 30 and it was very good, ribs a little greasy but nice, pity about the staff - very odd attitude, I think they were trained by the Gestapo, very rude. I suspect because we were not German. The next visit a week later was terrible, very fatty ribs and the staff were... More

Garda seems very popular with Germans and so no surprise really that such a place exists. Long tables, steins and meat! Self service kiosk. We fancied something non Italian one night and headed down. The menu is pretty small. Basically seems like a roasted chicken, pork knuckle or ribs. Then a few sides. Seems cheap at first but the price... More

Sitting outside and enjoying real good South Tyrolean food - the place has gone thru a moderate uplift over the years but essentially has not changed for years and years - always good to come back!

Description
Located right in the middle of a one-hectare green area, the restaurant is just out of Malcesine, far from the town bustle, in total harmony with the surrounding nature. In our restaurant you can sit down at wide wooden rustic-styled tables to taste wood-fired spit-roasted meat in the shade of the olive trees, which frame this heavenly corner. We are open from March to October, every day from noon to midnight. The kitchen closes at 11 p.m. With outdoor tables, and two heated halls, we allow our customers to find the place that suits them most. In summertime, the breeze blowing from Mount Baldo cool down the hottest days. And if you look out from the outdoor tables, you can see Lake Garda on the horizon. In our restaurant, you can have a fast meal, you can spend the whole afternoon with your family, or enjoy a tete-a-tete dinner with your lover… Your choice.
