This is our second visit to Maiori (for our honeymoon), so we decided to explore a bit more and try some different restaurants than what we were used to. Further up the Corso Reginna (Main Street if you will) we happened on this little gem. We decided to sit outside as it was such a lovely evening. Now, I am... More

Feel the need to warn people NOT TO VISIT this place. On arrival we were shown a serving plate of fish before we even sat down and had to ask twice for a menu. The same thing for the wine (no menu) and they tried to get is to choose a 40 euro bottle by not telling us the price..we... More

Visited several times. Enjoyed at ll. Freshest fish and best cuisine each time. Advise: ask for ''fish of the day' and they'll bring you freshest fish to select, and ask how to cook it. Cons: the service is good enough but might be improved: waiting for a check for 15 minutes is a rule for this place.

Nice and kind hostess but food is not good. Italian food should not take too long to prepare (pasta/pizza)

Arrived at 9.15, ordered food and wine. The wine came straight away but nothing followed. Over an hour later, having chased and discovered that they had lost our order, we were promised our starters in 8 minutes. 20 minutes later the (average at best) starters arrived. Another hour later, we gave up on our main meal which never arrived. We... More

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant, the food was fresh and served quickly, very tasty, and a nice choice of menu, the wine list is a little limited but the ambience and quiet location are a definite plus

Excellent food nice spot in the square where you can people watch, service was a bit slow they were trying to fit to many people in, but that's business, but the food thankfully made up for that, we couldn't fault it, was a good night just have patience. ❤️

The meal started out fab! Starters were lovely and then the let down began. We had three set menus, the mains were not that great. The sole dish was drowned in so much lemon that you couldn't taste the fish, the squid dish was rubbery and cold. The Veel had no garnish which left it boring and plain. The desserts... More

We didn't sample the food, apart from the delicious gratuity snacks that you get when you have a drink (more shame on us - but that will be corrected next time!). Paisa is a lovely little restaurant - cum - bar. The staff are dedicated, polite and exceedingly hard working. How Maria keeps going, we don't know. Highly recommended.

Our group of eight was very disappointed when we received our bills to discover that the sea bass was sold by the gram, not per serving. This fact was apparently hidden in the menu in Italian. The sea bass was one of the specials that night and four persons received different sized sea bass. When it was time to pay... More
