Asked for quick pizza as short of time, after one hour we had to leave, no food served. waitress continually bought out wrong orders, and asked if we had beer , then chips before we had given order. although we said yes that would be nice . she took them back again ... awful awful awful

My family and I who are Italians ate at this restaurant just to grab a quick pasta, as we were hungry after a long walk. Ordered 4 spaghetti pomodoro and waited a large amount of time for it to arrive. When it did the pasta was still hard. In fact so bad that it could still be snapped in half.... More

What more could you want, street side dining, authentic Sicilian cuisine, attentive staff, family friendly and owners who offer their hospitality openly. We had a wonderful meal here and will certainly be back very soon (this week in fact!). I had gluten free pasta con vongele, my partner had pasta con cozze. He followed by zuppe de pesce (highly recommended),... More

Excellent seafood dishes. Made a vegetable dish to order as my partner was craving potatoes. Great wine list. The host was helpful, charming and knowledge of the wine

This was a delightful find on Via Garibaldi up the street from Porto Corte. La Cambusa is owned by Le Messinese ( the guy from Messina). The family are from Messina but spend 7 months a year operating this restaurant. It is a typical family restaurant, husband serving and his wife cooking some delicious dishes. We ate there twice. The... More

Don't miss. This small restaurant adds to the traditional extraordinary Sicily cuisine some novel lightness. Wines are really good. The owner will be generous with useful suggestions. Best: caponatina di tonno, Spatola all'arancia

An excellent restaurant not far from Porto Piccolo. The food was reasonably priced and of excellent quality. There are many gluten free options available and, where they are not, the staff will suggest an alternative. If we go back to Lipari we'll be going back to this restaurant.

Probably the best fish meal we had in Lipari. The owner takes a personal interest in his clients, and what they're eating. Beautiful fresh fish, nicely cooked.. This is a very unpretentious, simple restaurant, well worth a visit. Good value.

The guide book recommends this restaurant - we don't know why - the food is over priced for what was a mediocre meal. Our order had clearly been lost as other tables which arrived after us were served - when we pointed this out the owner became quite rude and curt with us, offering no apology whatsoever and continued to...
