By far my favourite restaurant in Lerici and San Terenzo. Upstairs and downstairs seating offer a wonderful view of the marina, though you have a wider menu choice downstairs. Definitely go with an empty stomach, as you'll want to try everything on the menu! The Antipasto di Mare is a delicious starter platter (I can normally manage that and a... More

This restaurant sets itself apart from all the other ones, with its variety of dishes including pastas to fish based plates. While many more places in Lerici are mostly fish specialised. Golfo dei Poeti does this in a more stylish way. The service was all great and smooth. And I and my family had great time. All in all we... More

We took the ferry from Lerici to Cinque Terre and when we returned from our day trip to the 5 towns, we decided to have an early dinner in town. We loved the location of Golfo dei Poeti and the menu had exactly what I was looking for: branzino with salt crust. I have been wanting this dish for weeks,... More

We have been in Italy for 6 weeks and this was our worst experience eating out, significant given we have been out for 90% of lunch and dinner while here. The service was shocking, they forgot our order, reordered after an hour of waiting, forgot one of our starters, eventually it arrived and then we sat for 20-30 minutes waiting... More

Very popular restaurant in Lerici. A great variety of dishes. Because of the popularity always very busy. Be patient and enjoy the typical Italian dishes! It will definitely make your day!

Went to this restaurant without looking at reviews on trip advisor and a bit surprised to see that it is not rated highly! Had a good experience and lovely food. The seafood pasta and the cuttle fish pasta were amazing.

The place is wonderful: few meters from the lerici harbour. The atmosphere with candles is nice. Despite the place it's a "standard" touristic restaurant. Waiters are very kind. Food is good but without any particular excellence.

Went here on our hotel's recommendation and service was little off at first but got better. Food was great however. i and a 35 euro price-fixed menu that was outstanding. Seafood carpaccio starter was some of the best ever and could have been an entire meal.

We were the first of the evening to arrive, out of season. The waiter inspected us like we were a slug on lettuce but grudgingly allowed us to choose a table. The TV was on pretty loud. I would have walked out but didn't want to embarrass my teenage daughter. My daughter ordered pizza which was flabby, had elderly mozzarella... More

Golfo is popular all year with locals and is packed in the summer months. The food is very good with a varied menu. The prices are slightly higher than some other restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful and the views stunning overlooking the harbour. The specialty is seafood.
