I’ve heard a lot about this restaurant and thought it would be fun to check out. Fun it was not. First the chef is extremely weird, like Moes from The Office weird. Dude just screams “I need attention” and will do any sort of weird...act to get it. The ambiance is so bizarre I just felt like I was in an Instagram museum but like the bad kind. Like they were going for industrial chic and got prison drag. Ok but no one goes here for the ambiance of chef, it’s about the food! I think my entire meal consisted of three sheets of paper and a few jelly beans. The menu calls them fancy things but don’t get confused, it’s literally paper and fancy jelly beans. The taste was out of this world, in that it tasted like something nothing on this world would eat. I always wondered how people got people got duped by “Nigerian princes wanting to send you $100k.” But now I understand, there’s an allure to somethings that makes them seem real when there are plenty of signs telling you they are not. I spent the most money I’ve ever spent on a meal and it was a scam. On the plus side my Nigerian prince just happens to own a beet farm in Pennsylvania.More

Outstanding! Truly an amazing experience! My family and I were there in December and everybody really enjoyed the dinner. Isabella and Floriano are the perfect hosts and they are, without a doubt extremely talented, with their innovative cuisine. Staff was also very well prepared and...attentive. A palate journey to be repeated for sure!More

We had the opportunity to experience the New Years Eve menu at Bros and, indeed, it was a true artistic experience. We had a taste of 28 items. Some were fabulous, some were great, and some “ok”. The staff were incredibly well trained and the...4+ hour experience was as well timed as a Swiss watch and perfectly executed. The chef is, obviously, very talented. To make the brain believe that it is enjoying a piece of beef when there is not a piece of meat in sight is quite the accomplishment. Our only true complaint was the extremely offensive music. We did not want to hear American rap music dropping “F” bombs, dropping “S” bombs, and the most offensive of all using the “N” word while paying $500.00 for the evening. No one wants to hear these offensive terms EVER. Perhaps the owners have no idea what is in their streamed music or the usual Italian clients have no idea what they are hearing. It was just extremely uncomfortable for us and put a real damper on the lovely evening. Finally, and perhaps this is normal in Lecce, there was absolutely no recognition of the new year at “midnight”. This may be due to the chef’s artistic timing of the dishes. I do not know. It would have been nice, however, to include a slight recognition of the time. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff members.More

I cannot emphasize how truly awful this experience was. I have been to Michelin star restaurants. I have eaten across the planet. I am a fan of the avant guarde, of molecular gastronomy, of experimental cuisine. I love taking risks. And still, this place was...incomprehensibly bad. Please, please, avoid it. We were not served food. I need to reiterate this: at no point were we served a substantial amount of calories that could be considered a course or a main. It was merely dishes that *suggested* the idea of food. Like the faint memory of a meal. One dish was merely gravy. I kept expecting meat or some protein to be served atop it. But no. IT WAS JUST GRAVY. We kept waiting. It never happened. We were famished and angry and spent A THOUSAND EUROS. Oh, and please note: all allergy requests were entirely ignored. My partner's throat started to close up due to an allergic reaction. Please do not eat here.More

The restaurant, food and service was excellent. If you enjoy a high end food experience, this is the spot to go. Thank you to the team for a great lunch and a great memory of lecce and puglia food.

In reviews from prior years before you know what, people loved Bros or hated it. Based on having been to many very famous restaurants with tasting menus, Bros is a worthy companion. It shows that a Michelin star can still mean something.. The presentation and...recipes were creative, and the flavor combinations were spectacular. At least this season, the menu was entirely seafood, except for the desserts. There is nothing wrong with a meal being entertaining. To criticize Bros for any of the above is like criticizing the Fast and Furious movies for having too many car chases. I don't know what people experienced two or three years ago, but even as a single diner, the service was polished and professional and at perfect.More

This place is an abomination! It is an insult to civilisation! Just disgusting! Everything without any exception tastes awful: the food, the wines and the decor is horrible too! I felt like throwing everything to the face of the waiters! I have never been taken...for a fool to this point. Avoid at ALL costs! I sincerely wonder how they can be award any kind of award, let alone a star!More

I am still having a hard time believing that yesterday night really happened. I have travelled around the world, eaten in plenty of Michelin starred restaurants and yet I had to wait to get to my 44th birthday to have the most amazing dinner ever....The restaurant, with its lovely atmosphere, belongs to Floriano and Isabella, two young, inspired and incredibly talented chefs whose extraordinary creativity, brilliant technique, and unparalleled talent translates into the most incredible food experience one could ever dream of. Every bite of the 8 courses menu (you can also chose 13 courses, which I am definitely going to do next time because of course there will be a next time!) feels like it comes straight from heaven... And I am very picky when it comes to food. The staff is welcoming, efficient, kind and never intrusive. There is so much else to say but i enjoyed so much being constantly surprised by Floriano and Isabella that I think I will leave the rest to you to discover and be amazed beyond your highest expectations.More

I came here with my gf for her bday, during our Salento tour and we weren't disappointed. The quality of the food was very good and I liked almost everything they've offered. The two young owners and chefs love to dare and experiment, with often...good results, so they should be supported as they're promoting well the Italian excellence. It's a bit pricey I feel, especially for a fully Vegetarian menu' Service was excellent and very attentiveMore

It was a wonderful experience served with love and care. Stylish, not too pretentious, meals look and taste amazing. No a la carte, 8 or 13 course menu, (there is also a vegetarian menu) but actually they brougth a lot more. Great food with a...local twist and an interesting story behind every dish. Research and innovation with local ingredients. Great team of young and passionate people driven by Floriano and Isabella. We loved to discover a lot of professionalis and talent in such young people.More

Minimalist decor, we were seated in the first small room. The rest of the restaurent appeared empty. The staff were busy walking up and down the entire evening. Lot’s of creative show and performances, but very little substance to really eat. The food was hardly...edible- much of it was incredibly sour, the chicory leaves were extremely bitter and tough, and the pork dish was not served at all! instead, placed over our vegetables were a few tiny pieces of pink crisps in the shape of a pig!! We were so hungry at the end of the meal we had to rush out to buy food from the Mac Donald’s nearby. This was the worst meal ever! Total dishonesty in not delivering real food on the table! And any decent and self respecting restaurent chef should come to talk to the guest when they find much of their dishes being returned to the kitchen.More

I would not have gone there if they would have let me know that their 10 course meal contains 1 hot course (pidgeon) plus a (good) souffle and the rest consists of 7 cold vegeterian dishes plus bread. knick-knacks in preparation, but none of the...courses - with the exception of the souffle- was really good, so that I would like it again (my most important criterion). The maximum I can say about each of the courses is that they were not exceptionally terrible, maybe just ok! The service is ok and polite, the somelier is knowledgable except from the fact that he serves Calvados out of the fridge. It simply is a delusion, dont expect a gourmet meal like you can get in other Michelin star restaurants or from the top restaurants of the world. Not worth the money and the evening! I should have gone to a "real" Italian Restaurant, but I was too tempted to give it a try.More

It’s a shame that the passion of the chefs does not translate to the service. We made reservations for 15 courses, but they told us that that’s not possible because I don’t eat meat (feel like they should mention this on their website). The courses...we had were good, but we both ate without meat, even though my partner does not have any restrictions. There was no time between the courses. A few rounds, we had not even started our dish and the next one was already waiting next to us. I would appreciated it if they would have taken it back to the kitchen, but they just left is there and after the last bite they put the new one on the table. Moreover, we felt like they did not take us seriously. We are young (21/27) and they acted like we were nothing to them. After coffee, they just ignored us so after 45 minutes we went to the bar ourselves to pay. Nice touch to receive an envelope with our names on it from the head chef, but the service team screwed up this night.More

We arrived at the restaurant at 20.28 for a booking at 2030 and the door was locked. A girl came to the door and we told her we had a booking and she just disappeared and locked the door again! Not a good start. We...had been recommended this restaurant by a head waiter of a 2 star Michelin restaurant in London, so we’re really excited to be here. The waiters were really good and were very involved with making the experience fun. We chose the 10 course tasting with wine pairings. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful and the pairings suited the food for the most part. The music that was being played in the background was really good . The decor is stylish and comfortable. The food, however was a bit hit and miss. We are massive foodies used to eating in Michelin starred restaurants where all the courses have a wow factor. We noticed that some of the courses and presentation were copies or similar of other Michelin star chefs which was very disappointing when they are being recognised for innovative cooking . The pre amuse was a blue tea that we had to put a white grain in and wait one minute before drinking . I even videoed it as I was expecting bells and whistles, but nothing happened. Very confused by this There were some amazing creations like the fermented tuna and all the amuse bouche items, of which there were 6. The melon in olive oil was not nice, and the endive course was very bitter though the sauce that was served with it was lovely. At one point we actually thought that we were being served the vegetarian menu as everything was vegetable base. Pasta course was very glutinous and tasteless, and did not look appetising. It seemed ages before there was a fish course, and the main course was pigeon which was well cooked, but very small. Bread is really good, but the carrot flavoured butter was weird. The soufflé was lovely, in fact perfect, but the ice cream was not subtle enough. By the time we came to the petit fours we had a new waiter, who seemed quite disinterested in serving us, which was not the case for the rest of the evening. It is very hard to understand how the restaurant will keep its star as it’s definitely not the standard I would expect food wise as it has confused flavours and execution. Very disappointed as we were really expecting something stunning.More
