We visited Pizzicotto in Lecce on the recommendation of some local friends. We weren't disappointed. It is a no frills street pizza outlet but the pizza is to die for. We were initially surprised because there is no ala carte, you simply choose between the four or five varietals that have just been made. You select how many and how... More

Simply the best "pizza al taglio" i ever got. The dough yest for 1 or 2 days (= highly digestible and no thirst after meal) and the many and various garnishes make the stop ovet a real culinary experience. The guys managing the place are young and motivated, kind people. STRONGLY RACOMMANDED for who is looking for an alternative to... More

This place could serve the best pizza in the world. I have tried pizza on every continent except Australia. This i realla my favorite. I consider going back to Lecce just to try som more pizzas at Pizzicotto. If you are a pizzalover you just have to go here. Note there are no tables inside.

Fun spot to grab great pizza. They have a number of yummy types and they cut what you want, weigh it and that's how the price is determined. You can try a bit of each.

After having had several 2 hour Italian dinners, it was a welcome relief to enjoy delicious pizza FAST! We ordered several different styles of pizza, served on boards, and ate while standing outside. Really good!

Great pizza al taglio. We went to the one on Via degli Ammiratti - just in front of the art gallery. Just perfect. And the piazzaiolo is always smiling.
