On the inside is very local, makes you feel that you are in Tuscany and the fiorentina is just outstanding. The staff as well very helpful and ready to go the extra mile. Amazing experience

I have been here with an English friend of mine: despite the outlook, very pictoresque and tourist attractive, the food is excellent, the wine as well. I can't say about the price: from the Menu it looked average.

Simplicity and tradition are the key words here. Grilled meat, stew sausages, beans, pasta. Had great time supported by a beautiful red "morellino di scansano". Location is great in the historical center of Grosseto.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel staff. Feeling a little disappointed with the food, having travelled from Milan and La Spezia Romolos was truly what I had been looking for!! Tasty country, fresh, homemade pasta etc. my husband tried the wild boar sauce with his pasta and was truly amazed!! I tried the polenta with wild mushroom... More

It seems this place tries too hard to be distinctive in some way without really making it. Everything is more or less average which really is not a bad thing. There are times when you want to avoid taking a chance; then this would be the place. Not much expected and it delivers that experience.

I really want to like this place, I do. What's not to like? Three young women running a pizza place. What's not to like? Well, the pizzas were either a bit unimaginative or a bit too imaginative for my taste. Creamed vegetables are the house special, so go for that. Quick en friendly service, and great with kids.

I went to Romolo last Sunday, when roaming the deserted streets of Grosseto looking for a restaurant. Luckily, we ran into a small political tent (it's election season) and we let one of the volunteers show us to his favorite place- Vineria Osteria da Romolo. The place is superkitsch, and there was a great energy felt immediately upon entering. However,... More
