We had a pre-lunch aperitif and had some fish canapés and fried fish balls.

We sat at the outdoor tables and ordered from the menu 2 prosecco with a portion of fried calameri and a canapé. The prosecco arrived early, but we waited in vain for food for over 45 minutes. In the meantime, the prosecco has warmed and carbonated. The few tables outside were occupied by a dozen people, all waiting. A lady next door told us she waited half an hour for the squid. The waiter, while cleaning the next table, explained a problem with the "bread heating". Canapés started coming to other patrons who came after us. In the end we preferred to pay 7 euros for prosecco and leave because we were in Grado for a walk and not to sit at the table of a simple bar with kitchen. Tragic organization and terrible service.

Small little Restaurant but a total disappointment..after reading reviews that the food was good and cheap we went to the place and it was a fraud!! Very expensive ordevs..i can not name it food.!! The owner went while we where eating and bought all the " food" from the super market across the street and sold it to us for 10 times over the price!!! Everything storebought! Be careful!!

We somehow understood that Max'in Botega De Mar is in a remote alley, so we had some difficulties to find it. It is at the main promenade (I guess we didn’t see the forest for the trees).
We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews and weren't disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty also the wine. The waiter did his best with English and German.
Cosy place would visit it again.

Nice owner ! We arrived a bit late but it was still open and the owner was really welcoming. Gave us some advice and we took the antipasto : super fresh and incredibly tasty ! Great food and relaxing place !

Been here but they were already closing on Sunday night at 8pm as now off season. Despite staff was friendly and helpful and they recommended Alle Paca which was best of best !!!
Hope can try sometime, wanted to share if u want to try go early and enjoy!

A small bar-restaurant where the owner cooks simple but delicious seafood in front of you. The strong point here is the freshness of the ingredients and the simplicity of the preparations. For 15 euros they serve a huge mixed seafood platter which is enough for a dinner, and every item in it is just excellent. I also had pasta with mixed seafood - superb - and shrimp ceviche, very good. Here you can fill yourself with first-quality seafood, drink good wine, and spend 25 euros. Highly recommended. When it is full service is quite slow, but it is well worth waiting, while drinking some of the superb local white wine.

Very nice informal place, suitable for an aperitif and various lunch/dinner, but I happened upon it during lunch break, owner alone, lots of people and he didn't know which way to turn, in every sense!
Responses to customers are not always pleasant.
