When a certain place in Grado is closed where do you go for good food? Well, there are several choices on the piazza duca d'aosta. So we chose Tony's. It's one of a small number of recognised restaurants for regional cooking. Despite tonight being wet and cool, the restaurant was busy and rightly so. Plenty of the usual local dishes... More

I have always eaten very well here on my previous visits so I took a group of friends here last Sunday. The food was exquisite and the service 1st class. Watching the staff, they treated every table equally well. Could not fault anything. Ernesto the very nice waiter made some suggestions from the menu, we opted for mixed seafood antipasti... More

My wife and I are staying in Grado as part of our honeymoon. We went to dinner on 14th August at de Toni and we were very fortunate to get a table even without a reservation. The dinner was spectacular! We had spaghetti with clams, penne with sardines, boreto, and scampi alla griglia. Amazing! This place truly lives up to... More

We went for the Late Reservation 21:30 with two little kids. Therefore you are always a little worried about how they react. But from minute one the waitres created the perfect ambiance. The menu was very inviting with lots of different kinds of fresh fish and octopus. Nice homemade desserts. Good wiens. Almost a must if you are staying in... More

Over the last 20 years, we never missed to go to "de Toni" at least once during our summer holidays in Grado. Three generations of our family grow up with the fabulous food and the warm hospitality of the owner family. The restaurant is nicely located in the busy pedestrian area close to the sea side but even if the... More

Trattoria de TONI is on the "Restaurant Row" of Grado, near the old city center. When Grado comes alive in the Summer, this pedestrian zone is bustling with life, children running and playing, and mostly people enjoying fine food and wine. It's generally crowded at many of the restaurants, but if the weather isn't perfect, or you are at the... More

Cannot give 3.5 points. But that would be correct. Clear, straight and rather honest fish place, I visited it twice and come back.

I had not been to this place for over 50 years and it has changed! This well known restaurant offers locally sourced food and has a good reputation but, perhaps due to high expectations, we were somewhat disappointed. The food was good but, with the exception of the spaghetti (no tagliatelli) with ragu given to my 9 yr old son,... More

Average food for high prizes. The service is very good. Housewine is nice, food is fresh and good, but nothing special especially compared to the prices.

nothing special... except for the price! it's hefty if you compare it to what you actually get. the quality is ok... nothing worth going back for... not even filling as the portions are rather small. the staff is helpful and that is about the best that can be said about this place..
