This was a real find. A delightful small restaurant in quiet street a little way from the main area in the centre of Ferrara. Seemed to be mainly frequented by locals rather than tourists. A special word for the fried anchovies and the torta di...More

What a wonderful experience! We have had plenty of typical Italian restaurants during our holidays, but this is the best! The owner, a vibrant old lady, gives great advise to each visitor. We felt very welcome. We have had the tasting menu, which was great...More

Fine location in the medieval centre, a bit away from the main thoroughfare. Friendly and careful staff. Family-like atmosphere. High quality food with wide selection and some special interesting dishes from the Jewish cuisine of Italy.

I had the tasting menu, which was great. Wine card is extensive enough to have a decent choice. Pricing is amazing. A bottle of valpolicella ripasso for 23 euros is unprecedented. Serviced by a crew of lovely girls, headed by a true lady. If you...More

I really enjoyed the two pasta dishes I had! The owner was charming and gave us information about the Jewish ghetto area. She made a mistake on the bill but gladly changed it. Portions on the small side but still delicious. Very evocative setting outside...More

We all felt that this restaurant offered more than it delivered. The service was chaotic & the food very average. I had turbot, which I was looking forward to but unfortunately, it was very disappointing - not cooked well at all. Some of our party...More
