This is an OK restaurant. It is well located, right next to the hotel we stayed. There is nothing special about it though.

Charming service in this simple modest establishment with a varied menus and in particular serving local dishes at fair price. Throughly enjoyable.

This venue is frequented by local customers. Best sign for reputation. The environment is special with all philosophers around, on the walls and represented in the menu. Actually it is a pizzeria and pizzas arrive in no time. We waited longer for our pasta but it was worth it. Perfect quality and nice and smiling service. Although the place is... More

We went with a big group of international friends who came to visit Ferrara, it was about 7 of us. From the beginning the waiter showed no patience with us, the restaurant was busy, it was a summer night during Baskers Festival so there was a lot of people, we decided to ignore his rudeness being that he was so... We went for pizza, all was good. The pizzas are named after philosophers, hence its name, which makes it unique in this. The place is not big, recently renovated, not noisy also when full. When the weather allows, there are tables outside. The staff was friendly and the service attentive and fast, even on a busy Saturday night. While they... More

Our hotel (the "Nazionale", next door) recommended this place for pizza, specifically, and recommended we not order pasta, etc. We followed their recommendation = a fantastic meal. The place was jammed but we received our pizzas incredibly quickly. The couple next to us had pasta and waited a lot longer. It didn't look as good. The bill was tiny.

very close to the cathedral, this restaurant has a very long list of pizza. I went 3 times in the first 2 weeks of September and I'm so satisfied! The value for money also is significant. I believe that anyone that like pizza, will be satisfied.

Nice and not expensive restaurant, just a few steps away from the cathedral. We had a pizza (which was thin, crispy and huge) and a chicken dish with salad. Food is good, service is good, value for money.

Cosy setting, poor waiter service. Ordered water, olives as an appetiser .....nothing turned up. Meal turned up cold so I returned it. Five minutes later, same meal turned up like a piece of rubber. I sent it back, waiter apologised. My partners pizza burnt at the edges all the way around. I asked for the bill, guess what ? He... More
