I had lunch in this restaurant and ordered a "Cordon Bleu". They bring a frozen one what is unacceptable in a restaurant of this level. The antipasti was good and staff friendly. Maybe I was unlucky!

We entered the restaurant as we had a very good feeling from the contact with the waiter outside. Unfortunately, the service inside was totally different and the food quality was poor. Like in many tourist spots, the waiter was pushy to get the maximum of sales from every customer. This is not a problem for us - as long as... More

We went for an apero. They brought us some antipasti. By the standards of Italian cuisine, really bad. Then we got the bill and were really in shock. Luckily we were negociating and suddenly we paid € 20 less. The waiter was really friendly. He had nothing to do with it. He was a bit ashamed.

Because we were a very large group (about 18) and we were all very hungry, we had a very large sample of what is available from the menu at Massimo. Every fish dish was wonderful, especially the swordfish. The pastas didn't miss once, the sausage here is wonderful. Pizza also, not a miss. Service was surprisingly good considering such a... More

I went there for lunch and I had to return my pasta with claims as you could feel the sand... My husband dish was ok, not great though. However I wouldn't return here.

We stopped by at Massimo to have a break from a long trip from Palermo and high temperatures in Trapani. Nice cosy family like restaurant at the very entrance of Erice. We had only a coffee but walking towards the toilette (which is the cleanest and freshest toilette we saw on the whole Sicily) we saw that the restaurant offers... More

We just were wandering to just have a coffee and some sweets. The waiters just seated us in the restaurant, and offered to bring some Sicilian delicacies to share, but I declined the trick. We ordered two coffees, a tea a hot chocolate, a connolo and 2 other Sicilian sweets. We were dumbfounded by the heavy price tag of €6... More

well cooked good pasta. good service from the waiter. the only down side of this restaurant is that they prefer cash instead of card as payment. they instructed that if we pay by card we have to incur a charge, which is not fair. Cover charge of this restaurant is 5euro for 2 people :/

We discovered this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The communication with the staff was difficult since they do not speak perfect English but they were very nice, friendly and really did their best to satisfy the clients. Definitely recommend the mussel soup (the best I had in Italy) and the busiata with seafood. Seafood salad was also perfect.... More
