We have been here two times, the second time especially coming from Montespertolli. 25 km away. The "boys" are proud in what they serve. Home made bread, another product from a well known place.... During lunchtime we loved it. The burrata was delicious served with...More

Been to this osteria for lunch whilst visiting Empoli for business. Great menu and really good options for lunch. Crostini were great and so were the Gnocchi with ragu' di manzo ( mince beef and tomato). Will definitely recommend and will visit again when in...More

The restaurant is small and charming with a traditional Italian feel. Beware the menu is only in Italian and the staff only speak a little bit of English. I had the potato soufflé as an entree and it was excellent. Then I had a delightful...More

My wife and I definitely enjoyed our lunch here. Nothing fancy, but good food, comfortable atmosphere, and attentive service.

My husband, who is from Empoli, and I recently ate lunch at this Osteria. We had an excellent appetizer and then I had the penne pomodoro. The pasta was simple but exceedingly tasty. Sometimes the most basic dishes can be superb as this one was.

Average osteria - small selection, no pizza. Tomato salad was bare tomatoes, bean soup was too spicy for kids, pasta was barely OK. So its tolerable to kill the hunger, but nothing to enjoy
