Recently my husband, some friends, and I had dinner at Ra Stua. We were seated promptly--although if you'd like to sit outside on the porch get there early. I don't know if the place takes reservations. We arrived only a couple minutes after it opened and were fortunate to get seats inside right away. I had a capressi type salad... More

I really liked this restaurant. Fantastic and highly professional service, great bread selection, good prices. My ravioli was excellent as was my grill course. Only quibble, not unique to this restaurant, is that I'd like a better choice of wine by the glass.

The Character of the place will bring you back to a golden age of mountain eateries. Mateo the owner will greet you with open arms and has a great memory . He remembers us from 5 years ago. The meals we had were second to none and of course the meats were wonderful. The fish is whole when you get... More

If you're hankering for pasta with duck and wild boar, or a grilled venison t-bone, this place is for you. The dishes emphasize regional game, as well as of course the famous mountain speck. Full list of wines from nearby areas. Only negative: the atmosphere was great until two large parties of tourists were seated, at which point the volume... More

The music was so distractingly bad and loud, it left an impression on us and a running joke for the rest of the trip. The food was good, but not the best on our trip. Better places in Cortina, I'm sure.

This is a wonderful, historic and traditional restaurant, located in the very heart of Cortina just a step away from the top of Corso Italia. It always has the warm and welcoming atmosphere typical of a traditional mountain place. The owner is a very nice person who provides his own grown organic meat, so the steaks are absolutely the best... More

It's true prices are a little on the high side but it's a step up from the usual pizzerie/family style restaurant. The menu offers a good choice of authentic traditional dishes that you're unlikely find in other areas of Italy. Apart from the zucchini soup (vellutata di zucchini) I tried the pasta with meat sauce made with duck, guineafowl and... More
