We ate here back in 2003. The food and wine still memorable as with the tour by the owner of the Etruscan tunnel system underneath the restaurant which now houses the owners priceless wine collection.

we stayed only one night in Chiusi and we went to this old style trattoria in the center of Chiusi. We took a 1.4 Kg fiorentina (we were two) The meat was absolutely superb, one of the best I have ever eaten in Tuscany. The household red wine was excellent. The Service by a young lady was accurate and friendly.... More

We had a large group and no one was disappointed. The food was good, and when one friend was unhappy with his meal, it was graciously replaced. The owner allowed us into a unique wine cellar housing his personal collection of fine wines. Truly worth a stop.

Clearly the most upscale restaurant in Chiusi, but only a fraction more expensive than the rest. We ordered local food, and it is the owner, Fabio, who cooks, and his daughter who waits on you (the name Zaira comes from Fabio's grandmother). The food is very well prepared and tasty (not rich at all) and the wine list impressive and... More

The food was authentic and tasty. The service was attentive and not rushed. We really enjoyed our lunch in a large group of 12 (6 adults 6 children) The owner allowed us to visit the wine cellar later on. It is amazing. Please do ask him if you get a chance.

The first time we came here we were the only customers the entire time. We all were all very pleased with our orders and I had the best meat dish I have ever had in an restorant - the Tagliate di Manzo in a vinegar/olive oil with rosemary and peppercorns. Delicious. We came back a week later, and that time... More

Truly an experience. The food was typical of the area; local ingredients, very fresh, flavors well balanced, and done in a way that would put any upscale Italian Restaurant in the States to shame. After dinner, YOU HAVE TO ASK, to see the Etruscan tunnels, or you may not even realize the incredible experience that lies just beneath you.

Very friendly, pleasant service. Good menu and reasonable prices. A quiet Friday in March and therefore a bit lacking in atmosphere but I suspect evenings are much busier.

This restaurant wasn't our first choice, but we were so happy to end up here. VERY reasonable priced, for 44 Euro we had: - 2 large beer + 1/2 L house wine - 2 plates of the best pasta we had in Italy (truffled gnocchi and creamy artichoke pecorino ravioli - a very small but very tasty souffle (sfogat..?) -...
