The restaurants up and down the main canal at Cesenatico are obviously aimed at the tourist market, but that doesn't mean it's not a quality experience. You're sitting on the edge of the canal with a great view and in the case of Osteria dei...Golosi some excellent, fresh seafood. Our dishes of a seafood platter and sea bass with prawns and zucchinis were both excellent. Probably interchangeable with a number of other eateries up and down the canal, but we thought a sensible enough option for eating in a lovely little seaside town.More

Strategically located directly on the famous canal dei golosi offers a direct seating facing the most famous view of the coast. In addition to this you will have fresh fish. But that’s about it. Crowded, noisy setting. You will be surrounded by passers by and...thus losing your dining experience. The waiters are overwhelmed by the crowds and the clients and will mix the orders several times during your meal. The taste of the food is so so. And you have my word that you won’t be crying over any fish you missed tasting. As for the price.... one would think for the price paid that the fish went to school before ending up on the plate!More

For the second year I visit this restaurant. I was surprised to notice that the taste of the food hasn’t changed throughout the year. Same pasta. Same amount of salt and same vibes. The interesting part is that tonight we had a very bad experience...in a high end fish restaurant and in order not to waste our evening we came here knowing that there will be no bad surprises. This should give you an idea of the kind of restaurant and service. You will always get fresh products you will also get good service and an interesting view over the canal. It’s an address to save in your books.More

Mediocre food. Very poor service. Expensive. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There’s loads of better places nearby.

Stopped for lunch at this restaurant and it was really really good. I had the ravioli with sage and butter and couldn’t stop exclaiming about the flavour. My husband had spicy spaghetti (spaghetti with garlic, oil, and spices). The service was first rate, and you...couldn’t ask for a prettier setting. Sitting by the canal watch the boats and gulls.More

Visited this restaurant with friends while on holiday. Lovely ambience, friendly staff and most of all great food. Best fritto misto we have ever eaten. Would have loved to taste each plate of food that went past us as they looked amazing. Good value too...Definitely recommend.More

Flavio has the chat of an italien immediately you arevfelt welcome. Everything is to die for, take a selection of crudo to start with then some pastas with what has arrived. Finish with a grilled sea bass if you have any room

Nice location. If you stay on fish or shellfish it is ok. Avoid others. Service stressed and forced. Could be better. But in general OK.

I gave this place a rave review last time and couldn't understand how so many people hadn't enjoyed it, but we found out when we went back. No homemade pasta this time, terribly long time to wait between dishes, courses all out of sync (I.e....I d finished my pasta dish but my husband hadn't even had his hors d'oeuvres), and , get this: they plonked the pan with the spaghetti down on the table and I had to plate it myself!!!! Unbelievable!! Not good...More

We went for the Menu 2 Fixed price option for 25 Euros which was very good. Cesenatico is famous for its mussels and there are truly great part of the fixed price menu was The Mussels "alla marinara" which were divine. I thought it was...good value, and well worth a visitMore
