This small osteria is the best in town, awesome beers and delicious dishes. Try the deer Made by Laura, the chef, and let Renzo suggests you the right beer. Absolutly suggested, the quality of food is excellent.

Beautiful old world restaurant with an impressive beer menu. We sampled the local delicacies including the (much raved about) venison goulash. Very tasty, though the portions were on the small side. We sampled some of the beers too, including a smoked Christmas beer which perfectly accompanied the goulash. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and you need to make a... More

We fancied an après re fresher, this place looked quaint and interesting for a quick beer and steped inside. Fantastic welcome as we entered the world of speciality beers from around the world and opened our taste buds to experience more than just our normal lager. Super atmosphere created by the owners.

Whilst we did not eat at Osteria Italia, we certainly enjoyed the unique Trappist beer here. Particularly because of the owner's, 'Renzo, immense knowledge of the topic. A definite must for beer lovers. Renzo will regale you with his passion and knowledge of the golden drink.

Very friendly owners, husband and wife, fantastic selection of unique beers, food was excellent and also owners were very accommodating to our kids simple tastes. Large desert crape for our kids quickly disappeared despite the generous dinner portions. Try the venison goulash, it is very tasty! We were very touched by the great hospitality and warmth of the owners. Highly... More

We stumbled upon Cesana after a day's hike in the alps. The return drive took a detour into Cesana for aperitivo. Cesano is a beautiful village that offers "street food" from 3pm and aperitivo from 5:30pm, but the place down the alley (Osteria Italia) that sells Trappist beers didn't open until 7pm. We were very pleased that we returned to... More

Osteria Italia is a delightful small family owned restaurant. We had an excellent dinner in December 2013 and would warmly recommend it to anyone. OI has a great selection of gourmet beers and traditional Piemonte and Tyrolean food. The owner is a food passionate gentleman and only to get to know him is worth the visit.

It's a very nice, cozy and romantic place. Low ceiling and very few table: so remeber to reserve or the risk of not finding place is very high! The owner is very welcoming and really likes to talk about his beers: if you like "monks' beers" this is the place. The cook is his wife. The menu is written on... More

We first discovered Osteria Italia during the winter Olympics in 2006 - and we go back every chance we get. The incredible beer selection is just the start. Wonderful homemade food, great atmosphere, hospitality at its best - Lorenzo and Laura are the perfect hosts. Well worth a visit!
