Because of the good ratings at TripAdvisor since 3 years we wanted to book a table for lunch but we always had bad luck. It was impossible because of weddings, parties and other meetings. When you hear this, when you look at pictures and read...only positive reviews then you get flashed and become curious to get a reservation. This year we had good luck and were driving more than 100 km to enjoy the stay in this restaurant which is located far away from a city. With the help of the navigation system we found this restaurant. It is located on a hill next to the wine hill and it has an integrated hotel with a pool. At lunch time on arrival at 1:00 p.m. we were the only guests. 5 The restaurant room has a design mix. The curved ceiling is made out of red/brown bricks. The tables and chairs could stand in an office. There are no flowers, no table cloth on the tables. Just pure naked tables and chairs. This is not an elegant or romantic restaurant. Our waitress -wearing a black suit - very fast informed us, that there are 2 meals for lunch at a price of 18,00 € available. But she has forgotten to inform us about the meals. What is the special of the day? After asking her about the specials of the day we decided to make our choice from the menu. The choice was small. So we ordered duck with foie gras offered at a price of 24,00 €. Then the waitress informed us that foie gras is not available. Because of that we asked her how much then will be the reduced price. She answered that she believes it will be reduced minus 3,00 €. Because of not getting what was listed and written in the menu I ordered Salmon offered at a price of 24,00 €. For starters we ordered a mix of russian salad, beef tartar and vitello tonnato. Then the very small portion (charged with 18,00 € (!)) was served. The taste was okay but nothing more. Then my ordered salmon was served. It was containing of a micro small piece of salmon with the size of 7 cm length and 2 cm width! I also found 2 teaspoons full of mashed potatoes with the flavour of coming out of the super market. The vegetable on my plate were consisting of 2 pieces (5 cm length) of Asparagus and 2 little balls of beetroot. Never in my life I got such a small portion in a restaurant. Then I asked the waitress for a peppermill. She brought us a small plastic bottle bought in a super market! The other main was Agnollotti, (pasta) with Ricotta cheese (16,00 €). The taste was average. The choice of simple wines is average. No famous Italian wines were offered. I ordered a simple white wine at a price of 20,00 €. Refilling the wine from the waitress was not done. It was self service. Finally I paid 71,00 € including Coperto and a small bottle of water. Visa Cards will be accepted. My subjective personal rating: Ambiance: 2 points Service: 1 point Value for money: 1 point Preparation of meals: 2-3 points Presentation of meals: 2 points I cannot recommend this restaurant!More

We visited this agriturismo yesterday interested in their wine and to enjoy a diner in the restaurant. We were welcomed by one of the owners who showed us around the winery and told us about it's history as well as the expectations for the future....We were offered several tastings of the white and red wines accompanied by some bread, cheese and sausage. We liked the white aged on wood a lot as well as the Pinot noir. The diner was excellent with several Italian speciality dishes. We enjoyed our stay at Casina Faletta a lot. People are very friendly and service minded. We recommend to visit them.More

From the beginning till the end this Restaurant has been a complete surprise. Special thanks to Trip Advisor without which I would have never booked this place. Talked to the Owner of the winery and the restaurant who is of course passionate about food and...wine. Tasted 3 of their own grown wines, the Spumante rose (not my favorite) but the 100% Pinot noir was great even from 2015. The second wine a mix of Syrah and Pinot noir was again a great selection. Last but not least the Barbera produced in their own vineyard was my favorite. The service, the food, the creativity made this restaurant an amazing evening. Wander who said that degustation menu had to be expensive ??? This is so untruth !!! Congrats to the chef and to the team for their attention to details and once again creativity ! Love it all and would highly recommend this place to any food lover.More

We ordered the tasting experience by the chef. The five different courses were all little pieces of art: The flavours were well balanced, the presentation was beautifull and the size of the proportions were perfect. Do not forget to order wine. They have amazing wines...made on their own vineyards. The price for 5 courses was only €40.This included prosecco, water and coffee.More

A very good italian & gastronomical restaurant for a very decent price. I had the "degustation" menu, composed of 4 courses + a dessert for 40 euros. Try the local wines as well, worth tasting.

Purely by chance we stumbled acorss the Cantina, just outside Casale Monferrato on a Sunday when the usual chef was joined by 2 others. If what we sampled is anything like the usual menu this is a place well worth visiting. The dishes were paired...with wines to give you the chance to taste a range of the wines produced locally. It looks like a very nice place to stay with a swimming pool in the courtyard and extremely friendly staff.More

We were here celebrating with friends, very scenic location, meal was delicious, they had the best gelato and the wines were outstanding, we had a prosecco and Barbera - produced locally. Make sure you take insect repellant if you are outdoors as the place was...swarming with mosquitoes in August.More

I'm sorry Mr Fribourg, I don't know where you have seen the times of the kitchen, but in the reception there are indicated the right times when the kitchen is open, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00, I'm sorry if you've received...More

Ce ne sono 4 che, se si decide di fare uno dei 4, è obbligatorio per l’intero tavolo altrimenti si può tranquillamente mangiare alla carta fino a 7 persone.
