This restaurant is located in the center, with a big dining area indoors and also al fresco tables. We had pizza and a la carte. Forst, the pizza was very good. They have specials on their menu which I would have liked to try but then, you have to have priorities 😌. Their olive oil and 2 types of salt which you get when you order the tagliata is excllent. Smoky salt with thinly sliced meat grilled to perfection is a delight. The salad was equally great, done with balsamico and generous helpings of grana padano. And the house white wine is highly recommended.

I was staying at Traube hotel, so I also tried many times their restaurant. The place is quite wide and it's perfect for singles or groups. The menu goes from traditional sudtirol dished (such as canederli and gulash) to pizza, all of them delicious. Portions are very generous and service is extremely fast and efficient. With about 20 euros you can have a great lunch here. Strongly recommended!

The restaurant is located in the town center and it offers high quality Tyrolean cuisine in a modern, yet refined, place. Their cuisine is characterized by great taste and first-class ingredients. In particular, their carrot soup and schüttelbrot soup and all their cakes are worth the visit, and their wines, too!

Very poor management and client service. All guests “fighting” for tables. We were 4 and got our ordered dishes in totality different times. Ravioli and tagliata were mission impossible- waiting time was about 1 hour between soups and main dishes.

we are very sorry to hear about your experience and apologise for it.
Unfortunately, during this high season the restaurant is always very busy and despite reservations we have many guests who spontaneously come to request a table to eat. This can create queues at the entrance and stressful waiting situations, and although we try to accommodate everyone, it is unfortunately not always possible.
We are very sorry that you were not able to enjoy your meal because the courses arrived at different times and late and we hope that in the future you will return to give us another chance to show you our best.

The restaurant is located in the town center and has a very nice terrace. (We visited in summertime).
As it seemed to be very popular, we made a reservation and did not regret it. The menu has something for everyone (pizza, meat, fish, veggie,…). Service is fast and friendly. We tried the risotto and schnitzel, and this was very nice. We returned another day -it worked without reservation - and tried the salmon with couscous, guacamole and passion fruit. We thought this was an unusual combination, but really liked it. Prices are very reasonable. This is a place to return to when we visit Brixen in the future!

Lunch here was interesting and while we enjoyed the goulash with the speck dumplings (the dumplings not so much) and the Angus beef plus two beers the interesting part was when we paid. The bill came to €94 , I could see the puzzled look on my husband’s face, it turns out he was overcharged by €34! This was refunded when we queried the amount and I also hope that it was an honest mistake. One wonders though!

Wonderful, reasonably priced ITALIAN cuisine right in the middle of town. Great (and extensive) pizza menu. Everything we ate there (twice) was fresh and delicious. Most delicious of all was our waiter Rasti, who was not only friendly and attentive, but charming and authentic and funny as hell. [AND he spoke pretty damn good colloquial English!] 💜Deva & Tony

Let’s just say that their behavior felt borderline racist. We were the only couple who were not white and while all the tables around us were served, even the water we ordered wasn’t delivered. The waiter at our particular table didn’t seven acknowledge us even as we sat there until we finally flagged down another waitress to order water. We left.
For an establishment that has Michelin level ratings this kind of passive aggressive behavior does not belong, let alone in this day and age. Shame on you.

your review really leaves us speechless, this is the first time someone has called us racist and we are sorry but we do not accept it.
We would like to briefly recount how it went: you accommodated yourself on an empty table, the adjacent tables were all occupied. Our waiter took your drink order and left you the menu. After 5 minutes you asked the waiter why your drinks had not yet arrived, and he immediately went to check. He returned after 2 minutes with the water you had ordered but you got up and left.
If the adjacent tables received what they ordered it was only because the order had been taken earlier and certainly not because, for some unknown reason we wanted to make you wait.
We are in August, high season, and the restaurant is always very busy. It may happen that you have to wait a while to get your order, but if that makes us be considered racist then no, we are sorry but we disagree.
Never has any guest felt offended by us because of where he or she comes from or the color of his or her skin, and we assure you that we have guests of all nationalities every day.
We are sorry if you have felt neglected, if you have had to wait longer than you wanted, and especially if you have not been able to try our food, but please don't think anymore that this is because of the color of your skin!
For us, our guests are all equally important, regardless of whatever differences there may be between them.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Brixen. We had lunch and dinner at Traubenwirt and both times it was enjoyable. We tried beef cheeks, one of their pizzas, salad with buffala, south Tirolean rye ravioli, couple of wines by glass… all dishes are very tasty! We asked to serve us as soon as the dishes are ready, because our little daughter was with us and it is difficult to manage her, when both of us eating, and it was done. Unfortunately, the tips cannot be charged on the card… It is easy to find place inside in the summer, since everyone wants to sit outside.

Rasti, took care of our large table of 15 and was helpful, kind, funny, and provided phenomenal service. Of all the many restaurants we’ve been throughout northern Italy this one stood out due to his service and the fantastic food. This is a must eat place!

This restaurant has an excellent location, both outside and inside. I took typical dishes of the local tradition and it was really excellent. We were delighted by the good food, the care for the small details and, I have to say, the convenient price with respect to the high standard.

The restaurant is owned by the same family who owned our hotel so we thought we’d give it a try and had a great evening. The food was good, and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of local wines he recommended and both were good. The gluten free options were also very good. Finally our waiter spoke excellent English but was willing to speak with me in Italian.

We enjoyed two dinners at this restaurant. Both dinners were excellent. The staff was welcoming and very helpful as we speak English. They made recommendations and accommodated every request. We had been traveling through Italy for two weeks, and this was one of our favorite restaurants. The decor is lovely and the menu had many interesting offerings. Reservations are recommended.
