Restaurant's Favorite

The restaurant is located in the town center and it offers high quality Tyrolean cuisine in a modern, yet refined, place. Their cuisine is characterized by great taste and first-class ingredients. In particular, their carrot soup and schüttelbrot soup and all their cakes are worth...the visit, and their wines, too! Friendly staff and perfect service.More

This restaurant has an excellent location, both outside and inside. I took typical dishes of the local tradition and it was really excellent. We were delighted by the good food, the care for the small details and, I have to say, the convenient price with...respect to the high standard.More

I was staying at Traube hotel, so I also tried many times their restaurant. The place is quite wide and it's perfect for singles or groups. The menu goes from traditional sudtirol dished (such as canederli and gulash) to pizza, all of them delicious. Portions...are very generous and service is extremely fast and efficient. With about 20 euros you can have a great lunch here. Strongly recommended!More

Not the first time we eat here and the food is always very good. The restaurant is very popular so you need to book. Prices in line with the other high class restaurants in Bressanone. Even though it gets very busy, service is very good....Food is excellent and based on the local cuisine, though you can also eat pizza if you wish. Historic building so great to visit also to see it inside. Recommend it.More

Lovely restaurant that was very popular with locals and tourists alike. Romantic. They handled our group of 17 perfectly. Delicious food well served.

We came here on recommendation from the owner of our hotel. I ordered the Geröstel which was fantastic. It was hearty and the flavors complemented one another perfectly. The potatoes were perfectly tender. My girlfriend had the spaghetti alla chitarra which she claims was the...best pasta dish she's had in her life. The atmosphere on the patio was serene. The wait staff was attentive and very helpful with drink pairing recommendations. It was not uprising when we saw the Michelin plaque on the wall.More

Food seems generally acceptable but not worth the price. But I really recommend to go elsewhere due to the service. One main dish never came and we were charged twice for an appetizer. See details below. We did not get a receipt which is problematic...in Italy. We were in Aug 9, 2019 at noon time and sat outside. 1. I specifically asked for a glas of Blauburgunder wine. The waiter reacted rude and gave me a list of their wines instead. I the had to wait until he finally came back and I had to tell him that there is only one Blauburgunder in the list to order anyway. Why did he just not follow my request right away? 2. We specifically ordered one order of Schlutzkrapfen as appetizer. Instead he brought two orders and later charged for two. 3. My wife ordered Pizza and I had the steak. My steak came and while still waiting for the pizza, I finished my steak half way. Then we asked again if they forgot the pizza. The waiter just rudely answered that he cannot guarantee that both get delivered the same time. After I fully finished my steak and still no sign if the pizza we gave up and cancelled the order and my wife left hungry. 4. When I asked for the bill, there was not even a sign or word of apology 5. The waiter did not give us a receipt which is completely unusual can be a typical sign of tax evasion.More

We wanted to have drinks, informed personnel about it, they said we can take any table. We took a table and no one came within 10 minites. We called a waitress and asked for a wine card, because we have got only food menu on...the beginning. We ordered wine and said that it would be it. And asked, if it is OK. The waitress said that NOW it is OK but usually it is not normal. The wane was good, even though expensive for Tyrol (11€ for 0.25l) but the service must be definitely improved!More

Ate here twice. They have a pizza menu - which all range around the €8 to €12 Euro The house specials are good but the flat pizzas are better. Its a local specialty which has a base similar to sourdough. Delicious. The main menu is...more expensive so can’t comment other than the ravioli with spinach was ok and quite small and cost 33% more than the pizza. Wine list berry good and lost of wine by the glass or small carafe. The red Lagrein which is local was excellent Nice outside seating area.More
