Sunday lunch for 4 of us.
sat in the room with the open grill. house wines were good.
we all skipped the anti pasti and opted for a 1st course
tripe brescian style was tender but the broth could have been better, still ok though
meat casonselli was good and the tagliatelli with mushroom and tartufo was good but my partner said it needed more mushrooms .
wild boar stew was excellent
horse tagliata was excellent
donkey stew was good
beef tagliata was a little tough, all accompanied with beans and onion, grilled vegetables, chips and polenta with lard all very good.
2 deserts and 4 coffees came to a total of 172 euro

The Casoncelli average , the grilled veggies very good, the baked Bagoss-cheese very good but hard (in the sense of the word) to eat. It's not the first time I've come to the "Commedia delle pantole" and I can say without any hesitation that this is the best trattoria in the entire Brescia area.
First choice ingredients and abundant dishes.
The staff is very kind and attentive, the wine list is well stocked and Maurizio, the owner, is a highly professional and delightful person.

We often come to this place and we always had a great time. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, kind and helpful. The dishes are typical of Brescian cuisine, carefully prepared, are very tasty. There is a wide choice, from appetizers to desserts, we have tried many and they are all delicious. Our experience in this tavern was not optimal. Quality of first courses impeccable and generous portions. The service was yes fast but at a hasty stretch. The dessert, in my opinion, decidedly wrong, too "sweet" and really not very tasty. As for the appetizers, the artichokes in oil were reduced to 1 artichoke and the gardener was composed exclusively of peppers. I count more than fair. Ci tengo ad informarla che non abbiamo cambiato gestione, siamo sempre noi dal 2015.
Lo staff di sala ha avuto qualche cambiamento negli anni ma è abbastanza normale per un ristorante.
I fornitori dei casoncelli sono sempre gli stessi da quando abbiamo aperto, si tratta di un pastificio artigianale di Barbariga.
Per quanto riguarda la fiorentina, informiamo sempre al tavolo del perso e quindi decide il cliente se prenderne una o due in base al proprio appetito.
Il vino della casa è sempre lo stesso fornitore da quando abbiamo aperto e solitamente piace.

We were looking for a place to eat well, typical of Brescia.
We found everything we wanted for that lunch on the menu.
The waitresses are friendly and the food really excellent, the second courses for us were the highlight of the lunch (but the first courses were no joke either).
The price perfectly in line with the quality service and products, we will definitely return.

Family dinner, 6 adults and 2 girls. Excellent skewer prepared with passion, excellent alternative off the menu for small, prepared and friendly staff.
5 stars well deserved this was our first time but it will not be the last.
We'll be back.

Brescian tradition on the table, it feels like being at grandmother's house. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and tidy environment despite being on the roadside (external courtyard).

Excellent Brescian cuisine, fast service, plentiful dishes. Excellent desserts. Nice place. If I have to find a negative part, the coffee absolutely needs to be reviewed and the very neglected bathroom, at the end of the service there is no toilet paper in the bathrooms. Electric towels do not work.

My husband and I went to this restaurant after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed.
The pasta was hand made and very good and we had a very tasty steak cooked on the live fire.
Dessert were also made in house and very good.
The service was very attentive and friendly.
All in all a very good night out.
