This small to medium sized family run osteria offers traditional Lombard cuisine, cooked to perfection, and excellent local wines. The staff are very friendly and the location is perfect for day trips to Brescia's old city. Lovely spot to eat outside (it's not a through road for vehicles). Great place to just pop in to for a glass of wine... More

This osteria is a historical place that exist since many years. Great typical Brescia cuisine home made. You must visit it.be ready to see old men as waiter but they are in second generation there.

.My afternoon lunch here was enjoyable. The dining areas are basic but comfortable, but the food is well conceived. I ate one of my favorite pastas, Casoncelli (pasta filled with bread crumbs, parmegiano cheese, nutmeg, etc(usually meat, although more common in Casonelli from Bergamo), served with butter and sage, as well as another specialty of Brescia, Lumache (tender snails in... My friend and I had a great experience at Al Bianchi although we didn't really understand the menu and kind of ordered whatever felt good. The staff was super helpful and charming, and we ended up liking our food. If we had stayed one more day in Brescia we would have eaten another dinner there.

The casoncelli was particularly good as was the coteletta milanese & the pork. I have a sweet tooth & our waiter saw I loved the zabaglione mousse (my husband had fresh fruit) &... More

We were steered here by the staff at the Hotel L'Orologio as a place to get some local food without the tourists (Brescia is not a big tourist place, so this wasn't an issue anyway). They have a small terrace outside, which was full, so we ate at a table inside. The waiter read off his list of meals (no... More
