We went to this place from the suggestion of a local. The place will bring you to the ancient time. It was very nice and special. Food is a little pricey, but it was worth. We enjoyed all the dishes and also the recommended wine. Staffs are nice and attentive.

We love this restaurant that brings you back in the time of the feudal age. The atmosphere is unique and the food is authentic. I suggest to choose the taste menu that will bring you through a journey of 8 different dishes at the incredible price of 25 euro. Try it and let me know!

This restaurant dates since 1512, and the decor sure reminds you of this. It is decorated with lots of Middle Age symbols, which brings the place a very original touch. The food is also very good, very tasty, very italian. I kindly recommend it!

We had lunch at la Locanda on a Monday, when most restaurants were closed. We choose the antipasto as starter, worth it as it is not the usual salumi, nice truffle touch. My wife had gnocchi with leaks and bagus cheese, the best and most original choice. My bigoli with sea bass ragu and pomodorini was nice but not too... More

I have been at this restaurant few times. For sure staff is very friendly - which is nowadays not irrilevant - the ambiance is also particular. Decent list of Italian wine and food is ok. Nothing extraordinary, but I would come back. I would not define it a touristic place. The area is full of reataurants and it is close... More

Really welcoming and helpful staff and good local food that was exceptionally flavourful. Great range of artisan beers too. Would go again.

Everything about this place was good. Delicious food, quick service (near closing time) and great atmosphere. Prices were reasonable and the beer was fabulous.

Locanda is in a lovely pedestrian area of Brescia near Piazza della Loggia. The restaurant has a nice interior although our table was on the small terrace they have in the street. The atmosphere was good and the place was relatively busy (but not as busy as some other places). The food was really tasty and fresh. I ordered a... More

I had a 2 course meal with 2 sides and a half bottle of excellent wine for 45 euro. The food was modern international rather than traditional Italian - grilled sea bass with citrus. Absolutely excellent in hot weather. We have a similar dish in Australia. What we don't have is the fantastic historic decor. I let the pictures do... More

I have lived in brescia for a few years and it was an ok restaurant back then. It was disappointing because it turned into a tourist trap. The food was not even average. We ordered fettuccine and tagliatelle and on the top of the disappointing size of the plate they were nothing special. We then ordered baked potatoes and they... More

Description
In the original medieval setting with stone walls, it is revived the myth of the Gascon, the bold French conquerors who in 1513 garrisoned Brescia. You can enjoy dinner at candle light, for example a full menu of tastings. You don't want to miss the potato gnocchi with leek and Bagoss, our grilled meats, beef oil, and our selection of traditional cheese and home made cakes with a special note for the chocolate fudge cake.
