Well to be honest, this former Saw Mill is more of an institution for those with big appetites...amazing references to the saw mill past, some actually moving...kids will love! Excellent price fox menu worth double what you pay...do not expect a intimate dining experience, this is the funnest restaurant in Bormio, where the locals take their guests for a unforgettable... A wonderful experience tasting local foods. Portions are large so split the tasting menu one per couple as we don't eat a lot anymore. Great service for a relaxing evening - don't try the special tasting menu if you are in a hurry. It is mountain food which is rich and very tasty. Had a great local local wine at... More

Our second visit to this unusual restaurant. Set in an old saw mill you are surrounded by tools of the trade and see carvings on your way in and out. Specializing in local cuisine the best expereince is to be had by having the set menu, 8 courses for 35e! The wine is all local and displaued on the central... More

Another great dinner in Bormio La Rasiga restaurant was an old sawmill and still retains all the old tools and equipments which add to the charm of this exquisite restaurant We tried the fixed menu. Is bigger than your average Christmas meal but so good difficult to say no! Fantastic selection of cured meats starters followed by pizzoccheri, then sciatt,... More

Atmosphere is nice inside, very typical mountains place. But the food is terrible! Whatch out for the oil! The date of the oil is expired!!! Also if you take a cheese plate it is very simple, just two kind of different cheese. But soup was nice!

Normal local food, non excellent. Service very very slow. The restaurant is nice, underground near a small river. many small rooms, too small underground (few fresh air). Outside, it looks like an american ranch, absolutely not typical in Italy.

It's a very special place with so many authentic things inside. Old-fashioned restaurant where they serve marvellous dishes made by old recipes. They serve home made wine and original coffee which is prepared right here. Everything is very tasty. Well, the decors and wooden artefacts do not comply with the whole interior that much, but in general it's a good... More

The place used to be known for good food. Today most probably because of the number of clients food is probably prepared beforehand at the best. our polenta was cold the sciatt were good however very salty and very similar to other ones found in the area. We were put in a place next to a door were cold air... More

I was here with friends in March. The restaurant is set in an old Sawmill and it's nice to see some of the hardware still working while you are there. The food though was nothing special. It was good but just good. The meat came a bit too cooked despite I asked for rear. The dessert again was just nice,,,
