This is a magical little typical restaurant out of the village on the side of the mountain. There is a beautiful terrace for eating outside or a marvelous inside typically decorated were you feel warm and pampered! The food is delicious with many choices but try the canederli and the mixed grill!! The ladies dressed in the traditional costumes are... More

We went part of ski trip. Not a place to stumble upon. They have a horse and carriage that pick you up from the side of the ski slope and bring you to the restaurant. Decorated with lots of witches and bears. Entertaining. Excellent Food. Worth coming to.

A delightful Refugio on the Santa Croce mountain just above Badia. Accessible from the Sella Ronde route and Corvara and La Villa. As its a little way from the main slope, the estuarine send a horse drawn sleigh to meet you on the slope and drive you 5 minutes to the restaurant. I suspect with better snow, and better skiers,... this is a worthwhile experience. We left our skis slopeside and took a horse and sleigh to the restaurant. Lovely food though due to a language issue I did misread a couple of things, not a lot of English spoken but then you are in Italy! go for the views, ambience and experience!

A very nice place to eat at lunch. You are brought from the ski pistes to the restaurant by carriage. If you order the witch teller or bear teller you get one. The place is full of bears. The food is average but the atmosphere super.

We had reserved this restaurant for my birthday celebration, and let's be honest , with the good reviews on trip advisor it was considered a safe bet !! Not the case for us, a real dissapointment: Bread was stale, more than a day old, drinks were lukewarm, ( it was sweltering hot that day ) and bottles were not opened... More

We had 4 different dishes and 3 desserts and al of the food was great. Price for lunch with bottle of wine was 113 EUR, so great value for money too. We tried to go one more time for dinner, but place was fully booked :(

We were skiing down from Santa Croce and saw the horse pulled sled by the side of the piste which as it turns out provides free transport to and from the restaurant. Fantastic food, magical place (each dining room is themed), and a sleigh ride thrown in as well!

Not easy to get to, unless you have a car, but worth the journey if you can. This restaurant serves delicious local dishes. Portions are generous. The restaurant is particularly attractive because of its 'themed' rooms, one decorated with teddy bears of every size and colour, and another with witches, so great for the children.

Positioned near the top of the Santa Croce ski lift and accessible in the winter by sleigh, this little restaurant is known for its terrace and the exceptional panorama of the La Villa valley and the exquisite mountain scenery. After many visits over the years to enjoy this view and their excellent strudel, we decided to make an evening visit.... More
